"It hurts mother!" My mom pulled the corsets' string even tighter. "You're going to kill me!" She just chuckled. "Your father's orders Juliet. He wants you to find a rich guy to marry and support the company!" I just sighed and told my mother to grab my dress. While she did, Angeline, my maid, tied the corset so it wouldn't fall. My name is Ces Juliet Rodanthe and I'm the only child in my family. My mother is really close to me and knows how I feel in every situation. My father in the other hand, doesn't care about my life and pushes me to do work an 18 year old girl wouldn't do. He treats me like I'm 20 and I'm sick of it. My mother hands me a white dress that is a bit poofy and a bit flowy. I'm okay with the flowy part, but not the poof. I groaned and stomped my way to the restroom to change. When I was done, I looked into the mirror. It didn't look like me. At school my clothes is just black skinny jeans, a beanie or snapback, vans, and a random shirt with my hair either down or into a ponytail. I walked out, pouting trying to look sad so that my mom can change my dress. She saw what I was does and shook her head. "Your father picked this Juliet. We couldn't argue with him." I nodded my head and went to my drawer and took out my makeup bag.
It was 2 hours after the party started and no one catches my eyes. Maybe because they couldn't really see my eyes. It was a masquerade ball and I was wearing a white mask with a black border. I sighed and just walked out. I saw my favorite place in this manor. A garden with black and white roses. You had to open this creepy but comforting door surrounded by hedges and when you walk in you sees a path of roses greeting you and there's a swing and a little picnic table. I walked to the swing, just to see a guy with blonde hair with green eyes sitting on it. "Hello, Blonde and green eyed man. Fancy meeting you here." He smiled and was about to take off his black mask, with white borders, but I stopped him. "I'm Ron Kravitz, what's your name, red and blue eyed freckled girl?" I giggled and said with a smile, "My name's Juliet."
