Chapter Thirty-Two: Date Night

"We're here for little man!" Lacey called out as her and my brother walked into our house.

"Guys, i don't know about this... He's still so little, and i've never been away from him since he's been born... i don't think i'm ready to let anyone take him for a few hours..." I was holding my baby and biting my lip nervously.

"Babe, he'll be fine! He's in good hands with Lacey and your brother. It's just for a few hours, it's not for the whole night." Tadley reassured me.

"Sis, i promise we will bring him back as soon as you text us and tell us you want him home. It's just for a few hours so you and Tad can have some alone time and go out for your date night." JJ said as he came over and squeezed me comfortingly.

"But why can't we just bring him to date night with us?!" I pouted. Tadley started laughing at me as i clung to my son, i'm a new mom, i haven't been away from my son since he's been born, this is hard. I seriously feel like my heart is breaking at the thought of him not being with me. Even if it's just for a few hours.

"We need this, babe." Tad stated.

"Fine......but i'm calling every twenty minutes to make sure he's okay, and your asses better be here as soon as i say we're done." I glared at all of them. I don't want to do this, i'm not ready to leave him.

"You got it!" Lacey promised. I gave Cade a million kisses, then once Lacey took him i had to give him a million more. I watched as they carried his car seat out to the car and i instantly burst into tears.

"He's going to be fine, Kens. I promise." Tadley tried comforting me. I nodded my head and continued watching until the car was out of sight. I know that he's in good hands, and that they won't let anything happen to him. But i'm just nervous, i want him to be with me all the time. As much as i don't want to do this, and as much as i am not ready to be away from him, i know that they are right. Tadley and I do need this, we haven't had alone time since he's been born.

We both went up to get ready, after a steamy shower together, he went to get dressed while i worked on my hair and makeup and then went to get dressed. I'm wearing a form fitting black leather dress that came just above my knees, i have on matching strappy black heels. My hair is in a tight sleek bun, and i have smokey makeup on.

By the time i was finished getting ready, Tadley was already downstairs waiting on me. I grabbed my cream trench coat and silver clutch and made my way downstairs. When i made it to the living room where Tadley was waiting i just stopped and stared. Holy hell my husband is fine! He's wearing a black form fitting suit.

"I'm so glad i married you, you're too sexy for your own good!" I was practically drooling over him, and i didn't have any shame at all.

"Me?! Look at you! You're stunning!" Tadley complimented and then instantly came over and wrapped his arms around me.

"Okay, maybe we're both just really hot!" I joked with a wink.

"I'll agree to that!" He smirked at me. "You ready to go?"

"Yep!" We walked out to the car hand in hand and he opened the door for me, then helped me inside. He walked around the car and got into the driver's seat.

We drove to a nice restaurant and got seated, although it's been less than an hour my hand was itching to pick up my phone and call Lacey to see how Cade is doing.

"Babe, i can feel your anxiety from here. Call and make sure he's okay if it makes you feel better." Tadley said with an amused look on his face.
