"I'm sorry, what did you just say?" I asked looking at her incredulously, clearly i hadn't fucking heard her right!

"I'm his wife.." She repeated... Nope, that's what i thought she said!

"I think you have the wrong Tadley Matthews, because i'm his wife, and this is our son, and our house." I explained hoping like hell she really did have the wrong Tadley Matthews.

"Is this him?" She asked, i watched as she pulled out a picture and handed it to me, i stared at it in horror. It was sure as hell Tad, but he couldn't be older than eighteen in this picture. The picture showed Tadley standing there in a white t-shirt, denim jeans, and a denim jacket with a black snapback on. She was wearing a short white dress with a cheap veil on her head. He was holding a bottle of champagne and she had a champagne flute in hand. They both were grinning in front of pink Convertible that had Elvis written on the side of it.

"Oh God...." I whispered softly in disbelief. Cade was cooing and squealing in happiness on my hip, oblivious to the shit storm that was going on around him. I looked over at my son and then at the woman in front of me claiming to be Tadley's wife...

"Um....can i come in? Or can you tell me where he is so i can go see him?" She asked hesitantly. I silently allowed her inside, i don't know what the hell is going on, or if what she's saying is true....but i do know one thing, if this woman is going to be anywhere near Tadley, it's going to be while i'm present. I need to get to the bottom of this, and i need Tadley here to do it.

"Excuse me, i need to go to the kitchen to get my phone." I turned and walked out of the room and into the kitchen. I turned the oven off and grabbed my phone, and immediately went to Tad's contact and pressed the call button. When i turned around the woman was walking in hesitantly.

"Hey, baby! I'm going to be a little later than i said, i'm finishing up this client's information." He answered.

"You need to come home, now." I said instantly.

"Bab-" He started but i cut him off.

"NOW!" I shouted. My mind is going a million miles a minute and i need answers, and i need them now before i lose my shit.

"What's wrong?" He asked in concern.

"Just get home right now." I hung up, i realized now that the phone call sounded a little cryptic but i'm at a total loss right now. I don't even know where to begin sorting through what i'm feeling in this moment.

"He's adorable, how old is he?" She asked bringing my attention back to her.

"Seven months..." I shifted my son higher on my hip, he began playing and tugging on my hair.

"Okay, you know what.... what the hell is going on right now? How the hell can you be his wife when we were able to get married, we couldn't get married if he was already married to someone else. And if you really are married, why the hell have you come back all of a sudden? Why now?" I fired off some of the questions that have been going through my mind since the words 'i'm his wife' left her mouth.

"I don't know how you guys were able to get married, but i assure you, we are married as well." She reached into her bag and pulled out a laminated piece of paper and when i looked at it it was a marriage license with both her and Tadley's signatures.

This is what i get for thinking that my life was finally perfect, that nothing could possibly go wrong... We sat in silence and about ten minutes later i heard the front door slam open.
