I took a deep sigh.
Here I am again, sanitizing the grocery baskets. I should've just called in sick. "I'm bored, I'm bored. I'm bored, I'm bored I'm bored. Don't know what to do. 'Cause I'm fucking bored." Singing 'the boring song' that I heard from someone's Messenger story.
"Hey! How's it going?"
A thin guy with glasses pulling a cart carrying tons of boxes approaches in front of me. It's Ethan, the produce guy. Ehem. Girl, stay calm. Stay calm.
"I'm bored," I answered in a poker face expression.
He smiles through his eyes. Maybe his lips curves too. It was just covered with a mask. Who knows?
I continued sanitizing the baskets and he starts putting out the tofus from the box. Time after time I'm taking glances at him. I'm so proud of myself. I manage to look normal while I'm dying inside. Like, Gosh! How can this person so cute in his mask?I admit I have a crush on him. A little, very...He smiles a lot. Literally a lot. He also greets me whenever he sees me and such.
"By the way, why are you not wearing a mask? It's dangerous nowadays eh?"I'm kinda surprised when he turns around and spoke to me.
"I-I don't need a mask. N-No—I mean I have. It's just...It's kinda hard to breathe." I answered.Uh? Girl? That is so not you!
I looked down, shake my head to clear my thoughts out. "Yeah, It's hard to—" I looked up but he's nowhere to be found.
I felt a soft cottony-like thing covering the lower part of my face, then I heard a voice from my back.
"You still need to. To protect yourself."
I faced him and I was about to protest, "But I said—"
He kissed my lips after he put on the mask.
He smiled and went back to his work.
What the hell?
