"There's an insane amount of reporters outside" Thea informed everyone as soon as she entered the hospital room.

Oliver rubbed his temple. "We need to get Laurel out of here" he explained.

"What? No. She hasn't even been here a day" Felicity protested.

"Yet already out of my mind" Laurel sighed.

"Felicity, with Ruve Darhk's anti vigilante law, there will be detectives investigating this, and what do you think will happen when they see Laurel here, recovering from the very same wound the photo showed the black canary had" Oliver explained the problem.

"Well then let's do it" Diggle nodded. "Let's get her out of here"

Laurel raised her eyebrows. "What? Just, escape?"

Oliver nodded. "I'm sure Dr. Schwartz will understand"

Quentin barged through doors with Donna behind him, in her pijamas. Felicity's eyes widened.

"Mom?"

"We had to rush out of the house to come here, he didn't even give me a chance to change" Donna said out of breath.

"We've got a problem here" Quentin was also out of breath.

"Yeah, we've noticed" Thea nodded pointing at the news channel.

"No no, apart from that" everyone turned to look at Quentin.

"The guy who just outed you on TV, Adrian Chase, he contacted me a few minutes ago"

"What about?" Thea questioned.

"Well he said that as the new ADA he was in charge of this investigation, but he needed a consult from his boss"

"DA Ramsey? What does that have to do with you?" Oliver asked looking very confused.

"Nothing, except it's not DA Ramsey, it's deputy mayor Ramsey" Quentin explained.

"Adrian Chase said, he wanted to speak to his NEW boss" Quentin turned to look at Laurel.

Laurel's eyes widened. "But I haven't accepted Ruve's offer yet"

"You haven't?" Quentin asked her. Laurel shook her head.

"This guy told me you had, he even had the letter" Quentin frowned.

"What letter?" John interrupted.

"Well, I wrote a letter accepting the job before, the whole thing in Iron Heights, but I didn't send it did I?" Laurel frowned at the foggy memory.

She remembered re reading it like a million times, and then Thea called, saying an alarm was activated at Iron Heights, she shut down the laptop and headed to the bunker, but had she pressed send?

"Apparently you did" Quentin shrugged.

"So, with more reason, people can't know you're here" Oliver turned to Laurel.

"Oliver how do you plan on escaping if Laurel can't even walk, and there's probably a thousand reporters downstairs?" Diggle pointed out the window.

"We need a distraction" Oliver placed his hands on his hips.

"What could possibly distract them from this?" John frowned.

"Well what's the one thing people love more than facts?" Oliver smiled looking at Thea. Everyone was confused.

"Gossip"

...

"Miss Queen! Miss Queen!" Everyone shouted at Thea. Thea winced as she pressed her hand to her head. Acting. Pretending.
