Jimmy Andrews

Removing myself from Ronny's embrace I sat up and looked around for my clothes. He grumbled and asked for me to throw him his pants. I found my underwear and dress and tossed him his things as I got redressed. He pulled out a cigarette and lighter from his pocket and lit it, taking a quick drag.

"What's the hurry? Party isn't until tonight," he said in his ridiculously sexy Australian accent. If the tattoos, gorgeous face, body, and raw talent with the  guitar wasn't enough, the accent made him completely irresistible.

I gave him a quick smile and shrugged as I pulled my short black dress back on. "I have to go to my parent's house for cake and ice cream." I downplayed the event a bit. I didn't want him or any of my other band mates requesting an invitation. It was already going to be awkward enough with my brother there. I didn't need to worry about my friends too.

"It's always so odd hearing about your parents doing normal stuff," he chuckled.

"Well they are normal people." I pointed out a little sharper than intended. I hated when people fawned over my family. It was hard enough trying to make it in the music industry; I didn't need my parents careers leaning over my head. Ronny held up a hand in innocence.

"Yeah yeah. I'm sure. I bet you'll have a massive cake with nine stories and it's shaped like a drum kit and a chocolate fountains all around."
Now it was my turn to laugh. "What do you think they are like? My family is literally just like everyone else's. I have an aunt who likes to cook, so she probably made my cake in her kitchen. The ice cream will be bought from the same store I get my own groceries."

He rolled his eyes. When he finished his cigarette he got up and began to get dressed. I watched as he tossed the used condom in the trash next to my bed. I had scolded him the last time he was here when he hadn't properly disposed of it. He saw me watching him and stuck his tongue out.

"Well are you going to be back in time for your real party? Tierney has been going wild getting it ready. She's got Cash over there decorating and I have to pick up the cake in a bit."

"I'll be there. I'm mostly going so I can tell my parent's the good news."

I walked him back to the door and we kissed deeply one last time before opening it. He wrapped his arms around me. His hands dipped to my behind and gave my cheeks a quick squeeze.

"Have fun. I'll see you in a few hours."

"I can't wait."

I opened the door and he stepped out. I began shutting it when he turned around and called out.

"Oh, Jimmy!" I paused, eyeing him through the crack. "Happy birthday."

The entire week before my 27th birthday was spent dodging my parent's phone calls. I kept going back and forth with myself whether or not to show up to the party they were throwing for me... and Dallas. I was stressing myself out so badly the day of that I called Ronny to come calm me down. Now that he was gone again the bad feelings were returning back to my stomach. I was going to be sick.

Eventually though, I decided to attend the celebration. I could be an adult and do this. It was only for a few hours. Despite the traffic not being horrible, I held onto the wheel so hard my already pale knuckles were even whiter. My stomach was in knots and I kept looking around, just in case I decided to turn back around. Why couldn't they have just done two parties? Because we were being ridiculous. That's what our mom said anyways when I asked. He had apparently asked already as well.
