A Hero's Broken Past

Pain. That's all I felt when I woke up. I don't remember what has happened. I don't know where I am. I want to open my eyes but when I do I just see flashes of light. I am trying to move, but it hurts like someone is electrocuting me. I can't speak or make any sounds. It feels like I'm being suffocated and something heavy is crushing me.
"She's having another nightmare! Someone hold her down!" I heard someone say, it sounded like Dr. Rayn, ~ but what nightmare? What are they talking about?~
"Sir! Her heart rate is dropping to her average range!" ~I haven't heard that voice before..but why are they talking about my heart Rate? Average range? What's going on?~
"I don't care! Until she stops thrashing around she has to be sedated" Dr. Rayn yelled
~Sedated?! They want to sedate me? That won't do anything but what did I do?~
"Sir, she's just a kid, don't you think that much will kill her?" ~this new person isn't like the others.. it seems like he actually cares about what happens to me but for them to kill me, it's going to take a lot more than a sedative~
"Nonsense, she will be fine. Now hold her down! I won't say it again"
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed ~m-my arm. It feels like it's being torn off. S-Someone h-help me, p-please...What's happening? The pain..it stopped~ Just then I hear a bang, it sounds like a door being blasted open. New scents filled the air. Fresh scents. That brought fresh clean air with them. It was revolting, it gave me the feeling that I needed to throw up...
"Rio! Grab her and get her to medics fast!" ~Rio? Medics?~
"Yes sir!" I feel a pair of, what I assume are, arms wrap around my body and I can't feel the cold, wet ground anymore. I can't feel anything anymore. ~I just want to sleep~
Just as I was about to close my eyes I hear someone say, "Don't worry, you're going to be alright. I've got you. Just relax and rest." ~This voice. It's so calm and soothing. "I've got you"~
