A/N: Okay soo, I was meant to write this last night but something happened. Now I'm writing for anxiety relief.. Thought I'd give you guys a quote which helped me with the social part of my anxiety today.. "You don't know what people are thinking so stop trying to guess.." "Stop assuming the worst - it doesn't usually happen," "Think of the bigger picture.. Will this matter in a day, week, month, year or even 10 years?" They helped me so I hope they can help any of you! <3 ps. sorry for the long author notesss

Fred and I finally made it to my dorm room and I pulled out a trunk from under my bed. I took out my first aid kit and motioned for Fred to sit on the bed. He sat down and I sat beside him, pulling out a cotton pad and some wound-cleaning products.
I wet one of the cotton pads with a liquid and looked at Fred, "This may sting a little,".

"I can handle it," he winked. I rolled my eyes and placed my free hand on his cheek to keep balance. My other hand, with the wet cotton pad, made its way to his cut. I dabbed it gently; Fred flinched slightly and closed his eyes.

"Sorry.." I apologised, whispering for some unapparent reason. He opened his eyes, looking straight into mine. He smiled to say 'it's okay' and I continued to clean his cut carefully, glancing back at his golden eyes every so often. His gaze didn't leave me, not even for a second.

Once it was cleaned, i got some seri-strips and placed them across the cut. Both my hands were placed on his lower cheeks. "All better," I spoke, inspecting his cut and then meeting his eyes.

"Thank you," he replied. We stayed like this for a moment.. normally I would find this weird, but it felt like the least awkward thing ever. It was a comfortable silence.

He released his eyes from mine and started to examine my features. "What?" I questioned, titling my head slightly.

"Nothing," he shook his head which made me realise my hands were still on his face. I pulled them away and began to tidy everything back up as Fred just slumped onto my bed.

"C'mon Freddie, let's go," I told him once everything was put away.

"Can't we just skip this lesson?" he pleaded, pushing himself up onto his elbows to look at me.

"No, we have to be at every class this year! We have our O.W.L.S!"

"But we only have another 20 minutes left, plus divination isn't that hard. We can catch up easily, come on let loose for once," Fred spoke, leaving me thinking. For once.. he said it like i've never 'let loose'.

He wasn't exactly wrong, divination was one of the easiest classes to pass, for me anyways. Plus we have missed over half the lesson already, we would just be confused for the rest. Oh fine, it can't affect my grades that bad.

"Fine fine," I sighed. Fred beamed at my words.

"Come on," he moved over on my bed and patted beside him.

"I'm not a dog, Fred," I giggled at his choice of actions and words.

"Yeah yeah, just come lay down," he shook his head, smiling.

I layed down beside him. It's not like we've never been in the same bed before, in fact it's common for Fred, George and I to share the same bed or whatever it is we are sleeping or laying on. We all usually fall asleep in their dorm after a long night or when we are waiting for a prank to take it's place. Or even when we lay down in the common room. But we are always with George, never just the two of us. Not usually anyways.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Fred asked, turning his head to look at me.

I turned my head to face his, "My thoughts are worth way more than a penny, Freddie darling,". Darling. That's a new word.

"For your 'darling' they should be free," he smirked.

"Nope, still worth more than a penny.."

He just gave up and pulled my thin knitted blanket ,which his mother made me, over us. I turned onto my side to face him, "Thank you,".

He copied my position and replied, "what for?"

"For sticking up for me earlier. I know it was mostly because of what Hunter said about your family," his face tended up at the memory. "But you also protected me, which I am grateful for.."

He smiled, "I told you back at the Leaky Cauldron and I also told you when we were younger, I'll always be here to save you,". He continued, "And as you said, I'm your knight in shining armour,". I laughed at his words, remembering that day vividly. It was only a couple days ago but it seems like a lot longer. "Not that you need me here to save you anyways, you're capable of saving of yourself," he smiled.

I'm glad he doesn't think I'm just some useless girl who needs a tall guy to save the day all the time. Don't get me wrong, I love fairytales and Disney princesses but most of them need a strong man to save them. What is that teaching little girls? That they can't survive without a man? I beg to differ. Girls can be just a strong as boys, sadly that's not shown or embraced enough.
