"Alright, you know how much, hand it over, William!"
The voice of the dark skinned man boomed over the whole building, making many of the suffering animals inside shudder at the memories.
"Yeah, yeah, I heard you. No reason to shout Dominic."
A second light skinned man with unkept blonde hair said with an annoyed tone, fishing out his leather wallet from his pocket.
The two were well known aquantences from a while back, knowing eachother from their childhood, and for having connected businesses. They were also known to not get along well, so many of the 'staff' that could hear their conversation worried, 'what was happening to where they have to be so close in the same room?'
Soon William had pulled the dark brown money holder from his pocket, stuffed with money, the payment each got for their unhealthy and cruel business.
He handed most of the money in his wallet to Dominic, who gave him a sharp glare, trying to intimidate him incase he planned to trick him or somehow deceive him. Though, William wasn't affected much since he had been through just as much as the other, which is shown through the scar covering his left eye, changing the color to a pale gray.
"Alright, here's the obnoxious thing." Dominic said in a more quiet but just as aggressive tone, sliding the medal cage forward to William. Through the darkness of the bars and wool cover, he could make out the face of a dark gray furry face.
The young gray coloured wolf sat uncomfortably in the cage, looking at the man with many emotions going through her small body, fear, excitement, curiosity, anxiety, wonder, everything stayed together in the she-wolf, making her unable to show any of her emotions.
His hazel and gray eyes made contact with her light blue ones, making her shudder under his hard gaze, but she wanted to try and make him happy so she did her best to walk forward to the front of the cage and imitate a happy pet dog instead of a wolf by swaying her tail gently back and forth, hoping she looked happy or cute enough to help him.
He just scoffed at her 'attempt' to look cute and rolled his eyes, raiding his hand to grab hold of the top of the cage and roughly yanked it off the counter, making the pup stumble and fall a little. And before she knew it, she was in the back of a human pickup truck, being carried to her new 'home'.
"I may not be happy, but I will try to make the best of it!"
