I'm back! sorry I disappeared I've been busy with school lately. Anyway, enjoy the chapter!
Brie's pov
I was walking. There was nothing here. Then all of a sudden lines appeared in the ground like there was wire and something was going through it. It seemed as if it was following me. I turned around and ran in the direction I was coming from. Something made it light up. And I had to figure out what. I came across a square and the lines made four triangles. One on my right was a magenta color and then... mine turned purple.
"Talk about freaky..." I mutter. I walk up to the girls and I see... Brianna!? "Hey, Brianna!" I call. She looks up. She was reading something. She runs over to me and grabs my arm. Pulling me into the square. She shows me a page in the book.
"What is this?" I say. "It's a diagram of where we are. We're inside an optical illusion. Each triangle when you reach the exit it looks like a floor. Like the floors inside the building. but in the middle, they all reach one place. The elevator! So if this was a building right now we're stuck inside an elevator!" she says. Forget the elevator stuff I'm surprised she said it in one breath! "sooo by reaching this point we've reached the floors elevator?" I question. "Yes!" she says. "So then... where are Lacey and Tina?" I say. "That parts kinda confusing... My space only lit up once I got to the elevator. and so did yours. but look!" she said pointing back at my part of the triangle. The color was fading. "Somethings missing!" she says.
"Also your arm is disappearing." HOW IS SHE SO CALM!?
I turn around and run straight to the darkness. What do I need to look for? I see a purple flash and turn around. A purple tiger... with wings...
"I walk towards it and it nuzzles me. the ground around me gets brighter but I'm still fading. The tiger actually looks concerned...
I hop on the tiger and it starts bolting towards the diamond. Both my arms have disappeared. I see it in the distance.
All of a sudden. Things are blurry. I scream. and the room turns black.
