Unexpected Place

Jasmine's Pov:

I don't know why, but I felt like today was gonna be special. It was gonna be different.

I had just woken up from my sleep and I was still tired as usual. I always stay up late on the phone with my friends because we love to talk shit and do stupid stuff. Right now, I have the urge to just go back to sleep and I was gonna do that until I heard a ringing sound from my phone. I sat up on the bed and took my phone off of the charger to see a message from my best friend, Alysson.

AlyBestie😂: Something happened. Can we meet up at Apple Tree Park? I need you.

Me: Of course we can. What happened though?

AlyBestie😂: I'll tell you when you get there. Meet in 30?

Me: Yeah. I'll see you there.

Knowing that something serious happened, I get up and start to get ready. I went to my restroom and turned on the hot water in my shower. I stripped from my pajamas and stepped into the hot shower. I tried to clear my mind. Maybe today, wasn't gonna be special. I had so many thoughts going in and out my head on why today was different from any other. At this moment, all that matters right now is that my friend is in trouble. I need to be there for her.

I got out of the shower and started drying myself. I head to my bedroom and start thinking of the outfit I could wear. I don't know why, but something told me to wear a burgundy dress with black high top sneakers and a light blue jean jacket. Why would I want to dress cute for this occasion? I don't deserve to look cute right now. I try to forget and move on. I get dressed and go to the mirror. "Ooooo I look cute for once!" I say while making different poses. A small smirk comes from my mouth following a laughter. "Let me stop lying to myself." I walked downstairs and headed straight to my kitchen and grabbed my purse and keys. Then, I headed for the door. I left my house and got into my car. I turned on my phone to get to my favorite playlist. I started my car and headed to the park.

I arrive at the park and get out of my car. I stand outside of my car and call Alysson.

Me: "Hey, I'm here. Where are you?"

Alysson: "I'm at the café across the street. You want me to get you something?"

Me: "You already know what I want." I say as I laugh a bit. "I'll wait under the big tree."

Alysson: "Alright, I got you." She said as she laughed then hung up.

I walked over to the bench under the big tree and sat down. Since I knew Alysson was gonna take a minute to get here, I took out my phone and went on Instagram. It's been a few minutes until I heard giggling coming closer to me. I look up and I see a little girl running towards me.

Me: "Hi there sweetie. What's your name?"

Child: "I'm JJ."

Me: "Hi JJ. Where's your mom or your dad?"

JJ: "My dad and I are playing hide and seek. I saw you and you looked lonely."

Me: "Awww, how sweet of you. You didn't have to do that sweetie."

After I said that, I looked up and I saw an all too familiar face. It was Jensen Ackles. He was one of the main stars in my all time favorite TV show, Supernatural. He is my favorite actor. He is also my celebrity crush. I grew my eyes wider, but I kind of kept my calm. I stood up as he got closer to me. He smiled at me and I just stared into his beautiful green eyes. They are truly hard to look away from. I finally snapped out of my trance and he started to talk to me.

Jensen: "Hi. I'm so sorry if JJ bothered you." He picks her up and puts her on his hip. He looks up at her. "I told you not to talk to strangers."

Me: "It's completely okay. She was being sweet and adorable the whole time. She came over because I looked lonely."

Jensen: "Awww that's nice of you JJ."

He looked at me and then smirked a little. He looked like he had an idea. Jensen put JJ down and told her to go play on the kid play set. He walked over to the bench and sat down. I sat down next to him.

Jensen: "Well, thank you for keeping an eye on her. I'm Jensen by the way."

Me: "Nice to meet you Jensen. And it was no problem at all. She is so sweet."

I can't believe he is talking to me. Jensen Freaking Ackles is talking to me! Why me!?!?!?

Jensen: "So, what are you doing here alone?"

Me: "I'm just waiting on my friend to show up. She's at the café across the street."

Jensen: "Oh okay, that's cool."

Me: "Okay, this may seem too straightforward, but I'm a huge fan. I love your show."

Jensen: "Thank you so much."

He said with a smile. That smile is so hypnotizing.

Me: "If you don't mind, can I take a picture with you?"

Jensen: "Of course I don't mind! Come on!"

I grabbed my phone and went to the camera. Jensen and I got into position to get the picture. He wrapped his arm around my neck and moved in closer. I started blushing. I looked at him to make sure he was ready. I leaned against his back and tilted my head so it could lay lightly on his shoulder. After we were positioned, I took the picture.

Me: "Thank you so much. I really appreciate it."

Jensen: "No problem."

He smiled at me. He looked down for a second and then looked at me. I grew a small smile. He looked like he was going to ask me something.

Jensen: "Umm, so I was wondering...if I could get your number, if that's possible?"

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!! Did Jensen Freaking Ackles just ask for my number?!?!?!? Calm down girl.

Jensen: "I know this seems too awkward and straightforward since we just met. I just thought I would ask you-"

Me: "Yeah, yeah, I can give you my number." I interrupted, following a short laugh.

He starts laughing along with me, gives me his phone and I put in my number. He takes it back and he starts to name my contact. I look over his shoulder and I see the words "Hopeful Future💕."

Me: "Hopeful Future?"

Jensen: "Because I'm hopeful that in the future, you and I will be much closer." He said as he got up from the bench.

He was about to walk away until he spoke once more.

Jensen: "I didn't catch your name."

Me: "Jasmine West."

Jensen: "Beautiful name. I hope I get to see you again, Jasmine."

Me: "Same to you, Jensen."

Jensen smiled and then walked towards his daughter playing on the swings. All I could feel was butterflies. Jensen Ackles, the one who I have had a crush on for I don't know how long, just talked to me and asked for my number. I sat on the bench to daydream, when I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was Alysson and she had her mouth wide open.

Alysson: "Was that who I thought it was?" She asked pointing towards Jensen.

I nodded my head and started to smile.

Alysson: "Okay, spill allllll of the tea!"

Me: "Wait, but what's wrong with you?"

Alysson: "Oh girl, I just said that to get you here!" She said as she sat down on the bench.

Me: "Are you serious?!?!?! Girl I need my sleep, you know this!"

Alysson: "Yeah, yeah whatever. Now spill the tea!"

I laughed at her and began to tell her everything.
