It's the last day of work before the holidays, Meggy was at her officer duty, Tari and Belle were at Tascorp, Mario was at his house with Luigi, and the others were at the castle.

Mr. Hall Monitor: Officer Meggy, your work shift is over, have a nice Christmas off.
Meggy: Thanks, sir. You too.
At Tascorp...
Tari: Well, me and Belle are better be off.
Lamar: Alright, see you soon.
Belle: See you later.
Meggy was on her way home to see her husband for Christmas.

Luigi: I can't believe it's Christmas already.
Mario: I know, but it doesn't start until my wife gets here.
Luigi: I know, but when will she get here?

Surprisingly, Meggy came home early.
Meggy: I'm home.
Mario: Wow, you're early.
Meggy: I know, they let me out early.
Mario: Come here, my sweetheart.
Mario and Meggy hugged and kissed each other.
Luigi: I'm still glad to have a sister-in-law.
Meggy: Thanks, Luigi.
Luigi: Well, I'll be off then.

Luigi leaves the house.

Tari: SMG4, I'm home.
SMG4: Tari!!!
SMG4 and Tari hugged and kissed each other.
SMG4: That's it, we're all home for Christmas.
Bob: So, how long until the big day?
SMG4: 7 days.
Bob: Dammit.
Boopkins: Don't worry Bob, since I moved into the castle, you are now gonna be me and JubJub's roommate.
Bob: Hell yeah.
Luigi enters the castle.
Luigi: Hey, guys.
SMG4: Hey, Luigi.
Tari: So pumpkin, got any plans?
SMG4: Well, since Christmas is only a week away, we should explore the shopping centre and the German market.
Tari: Good idea.
Luigi: That actually sounds fun.
Belle: You two go ahead, I'll just keep an eye on these crazy lot.
Bob: We're not kids anymore.
Luigi: We should invite Mario and Meggy along.
Tari: Yeah, we should.
SMG4: I agree, I'll call them.
Back at Mario's house, the married couple were relaxing on the sofa, Meggy was on top of Mario.
Meggy: My fuzzy Christmas socks are so cosy.

The couple were snogging each other non-stop until Mario's phone rang.
Mario: Dammit, phone.
Mario answered it.
Mario: What do you want, SMG4? I'm kinda busy here.
SMG4 (on the other line): Mario, me, Tari and Luigi are off to the German market tomorrow, would you like to join us?
Mario: Actually, that sounds like fun, I'll see you tomorrow.
Mario hangs up.
Meggy: What did he want?
Mario: He's inviting us to a trip to the German market tomorrow.
Meggy: Wow, that sounds fun.
Mario: Now, where were we?
Mario and Meggy continued their snogging.
The SMG4 gang were now on their Christmas break and their countdown to the big day has just begun.
