Night drives. In Hyunjin's sports car. It felt amazing when the windows were down, nothing but silence and the sound of rushing wind.

We'd sit in silence purposefully. Not even the radio would let out a noise. The roads were empty, so there couldn't be any possible distractions.

We could've broken the silence, but that was not a risk either one of us were willing to take. Hyunjin's dilated eyes were a sign that talking would really fuck the drive up.

I shifted slightly in my seat, a sea of bright colors taking over my vision. The road was a lot curvier than usual.  I knew this wasn't anything to worry about, it was simply a side effect of the Mary Jane.

Hyunjin's hand crept over to my own. He gently grabbed it, pulling me out of my trance-like state. His eyes still focused intently on the road, and for a second, I thought he was just unconsciously grabbing my hand. Until he smiled softly. He rubbed his thumb along the back of my hand, I relaxed into my seat, his touch soothing.

Hyunjin opened his mouth to say something, but ultimately decided against it. We were both high. I assumed he was in some sort of clear-ish mind, considering he was driving so skillfully. But this was Hyunjin. He could be drunk out of his wits and still be able to drive safely. He didn't want to say anything because I take my highs differently. Noises are distracting and hurting. I wasn't going to tell Hyunjin that this didn't apply to him, though. He could speak for hours and it wouldn't hurt me. It would actually soothe me. I was afraid of my own voice, honestly.

"I miss you," Hyunjin said softly, quietly.

"What do you mean, Hyun? I'm right here," My voice struggled to get out at first. It was shakey and unstable, but I didn't stop speaking.

"No, I just... I miss it when we spent all our time together. We've both been busy. We haven't had any time to feel each other - physically and emotionally," He bit his bottom lip. He was right. Work was extremely consuming, and Hyunjin and I fought about our jobs a few times already.
"I miss your body, I miss our late night talks, I miss it when we'd dick around at stores, I miss it when we'd make each other cry from laughter, I miss the way your hips move against mine when you're needy..."

His words made my body heat up, but also made me feel like crying. We hadn't grown physically distant, but we were somewhere else mentally. It was hell, simply put. It's not like we stopped loving each other, it was just... different.

"I promise I'll make it up to you..."
