Chapter 1 - Morning Time

Carmen's POV

As you know me and Cameron are twins. Cameron is 3 seconds older me . I woke up and looked at the time. It said 7:51. I woke up Cameron and said " Hurry up before the big kids eat all the food". We only talk to each other. We got down and went to the dresser we shared. Cameron asked "Shall we Match?" I said "We shall". We deciede to wear black jeans, a teal shirt , green converse and a baby blue cap. We rushed downstairs to find Joshua and the lady who runs the adption center. Joshua was shoving a pop tart down his throat and the lady was on her phone. We got a pop tart and sat down on the big chair.The lady asked us why we were up so early but we were silent. She came up to us and pulled our hair. " I asked you a question" she said slapping us. Joshua slowly walked out. Even though we don't tell to anyone every kid agrees that the morning lady ( Erica ) is violent. But she almost always picks in me and Cameron. One time she said " That's why your parents left you. You irresponsible little bitches" After that I ran to my bunk and quietly cried. Cameron came and comforted me. He said " It's okay. Don't listen to her." Cameron always comforts me. Sometimes we just lay together and cry. Cameron always says that "Soon we are going to be in a save home. I promise." I used to believe him but after I turned 7, I stopped believing him. But I had hope when Fifth Harmony came to sing at the orphanage.
