Sasuke POV

Everyone thinks that as an Uchiha with a prodigy brother, life is easy right?

Oh how wrong that statement is.

Everyday my life repeats: wake up eat breakfast, be ignored by parents, have dad ask how my training is then get told to be like Itachi. 

Go to the academy, be compared to Itachi by my teachers, hide from fangirls during lunch, go back to class and be compared to Itachi again, walk home while trying to get away from fangirls, be ignored at home, ask Itachi to train and be told next time then have forehead poked. 

Train by myself for a while, go to the park while avoiding fangirls to see Naruto and Hinata, go home and be compared to Itachi at dinner, go train some more then sleep. Then repeat again in the morning.

Occasionally I'll go to a birthday party and have people try talk to me because I'm an Uchiha, or hide from fangirls at the party. The fangirl thing started when I told Naruto about my parents ignoring me. When he helped to save Hinata from being kidnapped he told everyone it was me who helped instead so my parents would be proud of me. Guess what, they didn't care and said Itachi would do better if he did it instead. In the days following, I started getting fangirls, which is very annoying when your trying to have a nap at lunch.

Only Naruto and Hinata actually acknowledge me as me. Hinata is like a sister to me, and even though she only has a short period of time for leisure activities after her clan training, she spends all the time she can with us. The three of us are there for each other whenever, like when Naruto gets left out of his family's training session we started to train each other in a mix of our clan styles.

Today is Naruto's birthday, and he's hoping to finally start his training with his siblings. We sometimes spy on gennin and chunnin teams training and practice whatever we see. So far we've learned Taijutsu, a bit of Ninjutsu, Kenjutsu with kunais, and Genjutsu.

As I walking to the training grounds to practice my shuriken and kunai accuracy, I see Hinata walking to the Tailor's with her guardian so I come over to talk with her.

"Hey Hinata, hows it going?"I said to her. She excused herself from her guardian and came to talk with me. "It's going all that well right now" she said in a soft, sad tone. "My father keeps telling me to get stronger, and he says I'm not fit to be the Hyuuga heiress. My sister Hanabi is starting to be considered for the role of clan heiress, so we'll have to fight for the title. I don't want to hurt her"

This is another thing going on. All our families don't seem to think of us as worthy for anything, so we usually talk with each other for comfort. 

"Hinata, you are the most capable girl in our year, don't let his words get to you. You know, Naruto's sister Mito hasn't even unlocked her clans oh-so-importance chakra chains. Naruto told me his mother said most children in the clan unlocked them at five or six." I said, trying my best to comfort her."Thank you for making me feel better Sasuke. How's-"

Our conversation was cut short as we saw Naruto running past us heading to the forest. He had a big scroll on him too, though I'm not quite sure what that was about. Me and Hinata looked at each other and ran after him, Hinata's guardian yelling at her to come back. When we came to a stop in the middle of a clearing, we walked over to him and asked what happened.

"My Mother and Father are going to give Mito and Menma the title of clan heirs. Im supposed to be clan heir Im the firstborn so it should rightfully be mine. They said Im not suited for the part even though my siblings have gotton all the training while I have less than the bare minimum." he was in tears by the end of his short rant. Hinata and I were in shock, and I wondered how the Hokage, the freaking Hokage, does that to his son. 

"I found a scroll in my closet, I think its a summoning scroll. I was going to show it to my dad and ask about it when I overheard their conversation."

I then told him "Why don't we check out that scroll you have and see what it does? If its a summoning scroll it'll make you feel better." Hinata nodded, agreeing with me.

Hinata POV

As Naruto started checking out the scroll I realized someone might walk in on us here so I activated my byakugan and kept watch over the forest. When Naruto poured his chakra into the scroll three others came out. He bit his thumb and signed his name one of the scrollswhile saying, "Its a scroll with three summoning scrolls sealed inside. There's an owl one, a fox one, and I don't know about the last one. I;m getting the fox one." "I would like the owl one please" I said softly, which left Sasuke with the unknown scroll. I signed my scroll with by blood and did the proper hand signs to summon an owl. The one I got on my first try was a large snowy owl with silvery blue feathers that was more than half my size. I looked over and saw Sasuke's summon was a crow of about the same size and Naruto's was a large copper colored fox taller than him.

The summons then spoke in unison "Who dares to summon us".
