I was at home with the kids and John was at work when I felt a really sharp pain in my stomach.
I went to the bathroom and I saw a bunch of blood! I immediately panicked! I was pregnant so it couldn't be my period! Then it clicked...
I was having a miscarriage...
I immediately called the doctor and I called Claire and she came and took me to the doctor and we had to take the kids with us.
The doctor had some good and bad news.
I wanted the bad news first...
The doctor said that it was true, I had a miscarriage. My heart sank when he said that then he said that turns out I was pregnant with twins and I only lost one and the other is still alive and healthy! I was so relieved but still sad over the fact that I lost a child!
I did cry but Claire comforted me and then we got home and I had to tell John that we are still having a baby but we were having twins but I had a miscarriage with one of them. It broke his heart but he was happy that we were still able to have at least one baby. So was I.
