"I'm such a loser, I'm probably the only international student ever to not live on campus, I mean that hag literally told it to my face, not sugar coating shit....ooh no you're way past late Ms.Duncan all the dorms have been filled..... Tardiness tardiness tardiness!!!....that old bitch's lucky i didn't spat in her damn face." I said scrunging my nose as I looked around my new apartment. Well the only apartment l've ever been in since when I as in Jamaica I lived in a flat house with my family.

"Come on gab, it's not that big of a deal I mean at least you get to called this shit of a place home for the next year." Allison, my best friend sarcastically said with the fakest smile i've ever seen on her face as lays down on the small but seemingly comfortably enough bed with both hands cupping her cheeks to prop her head off it.

"Ooh wonderful," I said rolling my eyes......"thank god it's fully furnished." I said as i quickly make my way out to the living room, "well for the price my sponsors are paying I'd be surprise if it wasn't."

"Wasn't what?" Allii questionably asked....

"Aren't you even listening to a single word I just said.." I asked looking at her as she have this puppy eyed look plastered on her damn face.... "I know that you're dreaming again... I can tell by that look..." I said as i shrug my shoulders letting out a sigh..."I really gotta see if this guy is all that."

"Chill out... I heard ever single word..trust me... And his name is aiden and yes he is all that..he's like the most popular guy at LIU and she super duper cute," allii says as she seem to fall back in her trance or whatever.

I'm now in the living room of the apartment as I noticed that the entire 10 minutes I was looking around there was a another room across the hallway. I sure hope that that's the bathroom..... "Allii?" I confusingly said with a slight frown.

"Come on gabby... Stop being a downer this place is hot... I mean hard wood floring, plasma TV, no public bathroom and not to metion your own damn kotchen." I guess she's right... All these years i' ve always wanted my own freedom to be able to live on my own and now here i am making mountain out of a molehill over it.

"if I wasn't living in that run down dorm I think this would be a dream come through for me... So turn that frown upside down and appreciate this place."

"Allii," I nervously said again as I turn the knob to open the room...

"Yes gab," she answered hovering across the bed to stand to her feet.."what's the prob?"

.. To my surprised the door opened with a small creak.....someone was already actually living in here as the bed was already made and what appears to be a half eaten apple was on dressing table...."allii why didn't you tell me that I was going to be sharing an apartment with a tots stranger after giving my sponsors the go ahead to pay for an entire year's worth of rent." I said throwing my hands in the air evidently quite upset..

"Ooh yeah... I tots forgot to tell you about that," allii said with worried eyes taking a clump of her hair and biting at it... Something she did too often whenever she's nervous, " I meant to you know but at the moment I caught my self...."

"What let me guess?... Thinking about Aiden....," I said as my eyes meet hers and she quickly turned away.......

15 minutes later I caught myself digging around the strangers bed room... Trying to at least find a picture or something so I can at least have an idea of who's gonna be my roommate for the rest of the damn year.... I told allii to stay in the living room in case the stranger arrives so that I can leave the room without her noticing....
