"I caught you staring at me and I was thinking clearly.

Now I'm like a bee and I'm hunting for the honey

and I'm kinda shy, but you're super fly, yeah,

I could be your kryptonite."

I walked into the kitchen after a long night of sleep and saw Lucy sitting at the kitchen table, with two plates full of breakfast. Her eyes flickered up to meet mine and a smile instantly grew on her face. She stood up quickly and make a tiny squealing noise. She turned around to the fridge and pulled out a giant pitcher of juice.

"Good morning Lily!" she exclaimed. I nodded my head a bit as I fixed the hair out of my eyes.

"Please sit," she told me as she then poured two glasses of the orange juice she prepared. I sat as directed and still as trying to get a grip on reality. Waking up wasn't something I was good at.

"I just finished and sat down as you walked out your room. Perfect timing, as always on my part," she said handing me my juice. I quietly thanked her and took the juice form her and began taking tiny sips. It was great honestly, it was something I honestly needed after nothing but water for breakfast for the past couple of weeks.

"So," she dragged out. "What are you up to, today?" she questioned me. I held the juice close to my face as I hovered over it on the table. I then thought for a second and shook my head.

"Why?" I questioned as I took another sip of my juice.

"Uh, well, I was going to run down to apply for another job, downtown. If you'd like to join me for lunch?" I raised an eyebrow as she handed me my plate of food she made for me. I thanked her then soon went back to her question.

"You're applying for another one? Is one job and school not enough?" I joked.

"No, it's more than enough. Believe me," she chuckled as she poked at her food. She then shook her head, sat her fork down, and looked up at me. I felt a little gutted in my stomach since I was starving but I didn't want to be the only one eating.

"Can I tell you something?" she asked now with a bit sadder tone. This was strange, at least for me. I wasn't used to seeing Lucy anything but bubbly and happy. Seeing her a bit down, seemed so unnatural.

"Sure," I answered, shamefully taking a bite of my food.

"I don't know what I want to do with my life," she admitted. But how could that be? She seemed like she had such a plan and that she was so focused. She was working at one of her father's many car shops around the world, she was school for a business degree, and she already knew the names of her first three children. How can someone like Lucy not know what she wants to do with her life?

"What do you mean? Aren't you focused on learning stuff from your dad's car place at least?"

"Well, yeah. I did come to get trained but I don't want that to be my career. I mean, what woman would their entire life to be revolved around fixing cars?" I raised my eyebrows and shrugged, taking another bite of my food.
