A/N;; ok i'm gonna try to make this long but I just wanna say thank you if you read this bc yes ily all dedicated to lydia because she's a dork

There was a game earlier today which thankfully ended up with the boys winning, so of course, like always, there was a frat party afterwards. I'm not sure why I went every time, it went the same basically every night. Every body got drunk, we danced, we did whatever game they suggested and Kaylee and I left early. Always. Part of me felt like tonight was going to be different.

“You almost ready?” Kaylee knocked on the bathroom door as I examined myself in the mirror.

I slightly curled my hair so it was wavy. I frowned at myself, another knock on the door pulled my attention. Opening the door, Kaylee looked at me worriedly.

“You alright?” I nodded, before taking her hand with a genuine smile. She let go, grabbing her keys. “Alright, let's go have some fun then,” My sister grinned and I smiled widely, heading towards the door.

/ / where did the party go / /

The music blasted out of the speakers, already drunk or close to it bodies everywhere. I had seen everybody here at least once. This school was weird. Everybody knew everybody, but not everyone was friends.

Until my eyes fell on a certain black haired girl, who didn't seem to know anybody. I turned towards the crowd of people, pulling Taylor to my side, “Who's she?” I shouted over the music, causing Tay to turn towards the direction I was looking.

“Her? Nobody knows! I think she's new or something!” She shrugged before going back into the crowd of cheering drunks to find Fletch.

I decided to approach her, considering she looked out of place. With a beer in my hand, I made my way to her corned.

“You new here?” I asked rather loudly, taking a sip of my drink.

She nodded shyly, “Yeah! Yesterday was my first day.”

“Got a name?” I looked her over. She was a few inches taller than me, and she was gorgeous.

“Thalia,” She replied, “You?”

“Noelle,” Thalia stuck her hand out and I shook it, smiling politely at her. “What are you doing at a frat party your second day?” I laughed.

“Calum invited me,” Thalia shrugged, and my heart dropped but I didn't let it show.

“Oh, that's cool.”

“Yeah! Do you know if he has a girlfriend?” My hand tightened around the beer bottle. How do I answer this? Oh yeah, he doesn't have a girlfriend but I'm in love with him, but nah.

“No, not that I know of,” I said quickly, trying to calm myself down. Her face brightened.

“Oh, really, sweet. Glad I bumped into you.” Thalia laughed shakily. She liked him. Fuck.

“Alright, guys!” I heard a thick voice yell over the music as it was turned off. Both of us turned to see Ashton standing on a table in the center of the room.

“It's been great tonight, you guys!” He was nearly drunk, “But! If I don't know you or you weren't invited, the door's that way!” Ash finished, followed by groans in complaint and people exiting the house. The only one's left were me, Thalia, Kaylee, Fletch, Taylor, Blaise, Luke, Calum, and of course, Ash.

Something happened between Blaise and Luke. Nobody knew what, but Blaise was hurt and Luke looked like a lost puppy because they had barely been talking all night.

When it was just us 9, I could see Fletch with Taylor on his lap underneath the table Ash stood on minutes before and I laughed to myself, shaking my head.

Luke looked like shit but he had an airy grin on his face, while Blaise was passed out on a couch. Thalia made her way to Calum, and the way they looked at each other disgusted me.

Something inside of me ached, and I couldn't tell if it was because of Thal and Calum or because of the alcohol. I'd had about 4 beers, and I was the most sober one there.

“We're going to play,” Calum started, Ashton doing a drum roll on the table for dramatic effect, “Dare or die!” He yelled, everyone cheering.

We all sat in a circle. Thalia and Calum were too close together and my teeth sunk into my bottom lip, my gaze anywhere but on them.

I blocked out most of the game since nobody chose me, but a certain one caught my attention.

“Calum,” Fletch started, obviously drunk off his ass, “My dare for you, my dear friend, is to take that little beauty right there, into that closet, for seven minutes in heaven.”

Except, Fletch wasn't pointing at me.

He was pointing at Thalia.

Fletch's dare was for Thalia and Calum to make out in a closet for seven minutes.

My chest tightened and my breath caught in my throat. Calum and I weren't even dating, right? So it's okay for him to do this, right? Yeah, I guess it is. It doesn't matter who he kisses. He probably didn't even mean it when he said he liked me. Clearly he was just heartbroken. But maybe he's just so drunk, he forgot about all that. I'm gonna go with that, but Fletch? Drunk or not, he shouldn't have done that. I've only had a huge crush on Calum for almost a year. No big deal or anything. While I was lost in my thoughts, Cal and Thalia had been in the closet for three minutes. Luke seemed to be the only one who noticed that I was incredibly uncomfortable, since he moved next to me and wrapped one his arms around me. He was gay, so it was okay for him to do things like that.

“You doing alright, love?” Luke whispered to me, rubbing my arm sympathetically.

“Why does it hurt so much to see him willingly go into a closet with a girl he just met?” I asked, barely above a whisper.

“Because, you love him.”

“Do I?”

“Yes, you do, Noelle,” It was nice that he cared so much, even if he was drunk, “anybody could tell by the way you look at him, the way your face lights up whenever he's mentioned. Drunk or not, you love him. I just am not sure he feels the same.”

I didn't say anything, so he continued, “but babe, you've got to remember, he is drunk. I doubt he'll remember any of this in the morning.”

I wrapped my arms around Luke, hugging him, “thank you.”

He smiled at me, returning the hug. When he pulled away, he stayed next to me which I was thankful for.

If I had to pick a soundtrack for my life, Hopelessly Devoted to You from Grease would definitely be playing right now.

Before any of us knew it, the seven minutes were up and out came the two, both with messy hair, swollen lips, and disgusting smirks.

I'm pretty sure she thought they were like, dating now, or something. If something happened with them sober, I would kill her.

When they sat down, Thalia sat on his lap and I could feel tears burning in my eyes. Calum noticed, but looked confused.

“What's wrong with her?” He asked Luke, like he couldn't stand asking me myself.

“You're what's wrong with her,” Luke rolled his eyes, before turning to Fletch even though he was passed out on the pool table, “both of you are what's wrong with her.”

Luke stood up, pulling me up with him and we left the frat house together, confused looks from everyone as we left.

A/N;; well shit man
