Casey hurried out of the elevator, down the corridor. Her heart pounding in her chest and her breaths growing ragged. She was late. She couldn't be late. She'd never been late. Eventually, she reached the door, nearly skidding into it. She rapped her knuckles on the door, entering when she heard Ethan yell for whoever it was to enter. When she pushed the door open, Baz, June, and Ethan all turned to look at her.

June tutted, tapping her watch. "What time do you call this?" Casey didn't seem to pick up on the joining tone in the woman's question.

"I'm sorry," Casey replied, slipping off her coat. She placed her jacket on the back of her chair and her bag beside it, eventually sinking down into it. A few awkward beats of silence passed until she spoke again. "Morning everyone," she said, giving them all a smile. Out of the coroner's eye, June saw Ethan returned Casey with a smile of his own.

Everyone knew of the brewing romance, it was painfully obvious. Also, the way Ethan hadn't berated the younger doctor for being late confirmed it. June and Baz responded with their own good mornings.

"Good morning, Rookie."

"So, what did you guys do last night?" June asked curiously, a smirk dancing across her lips, as she leaned forward resting her chin on her knuckles. Casey and Ethan shot enough a glance, bothering wondering how she knew they'd been together.

"We both saw you leave together after yesterday's shift ended," Baz spoke up.

"We just went for a walk around the city," Casey shrugged. Ethan shot her a look of annoyance. "It was...really pretty actually. The snow, the lights..." The holding hands, the kiss... Casey's mouth twisted up into an involuntary smirk. June and Baz made eye contact, giving one another a knowing look.

"Sounds pretty romantic," Baz mused, "Was it a date?"

"No," Ethan answered, too quickly for Baz's and June's liking. He cleared his throat as the pair turned to him, raising their eyebrows in question. "It was simply just two friends going for a walk together."

"Riiiiight," June said, nodding her head vigorously, "I get it."

Ethan gave her a strange look. He concluded either she was going mad or she knew that he was lying. To be honest, the couple knew their relationship was going to come out in the end. They were both anxious about that. They loved each other, there was no doubt about that. Right now, their relationship was only there's, it was going well. They were both just cautious that people were going to have their own opinions on it, and they didn't want them to in any way affect their relationship.

Ethan cleared his throat, wanting this conversation to end, he dismissed Baz and June. They both shot the couple a knowing glance before dispersing out the room. Once Juen and Baz were on the other side of the door, they burst into laughter.

"So...they're in love, right? Can we agree on that?" June nodded her head. "We need to get them together..."

"Have you got any ideas?" June questioned, as they walked down the hallway until they reached the elevator. Baz pressed the button to summon it then turned back to her.

"Actually, I just might."

Meanwhile, back in Ethan's office, he perched on the edge of the table, arms folded over his chest as he let out a sigh. Casey looked up from her seat at that, raising her brow in question.

"They know," Ethan said, another sigh escaping his lips, and letting his arms drop down to his side.

"And?" Casey questions simply. She stood up, moving to stand in front of him. "If everyone knew it would we don't need to keep this a secret anymore. Maybe it'll be a good thing." Casey stood up onto her tiptoes to place a kiss on his lips, which Ethan returned, his hands coming to rest on either side of her waist.
