[name] walked through the large mansion, the dark coloured walls and eerie silence made his skin crawl. Though as long as he got to the room he was looking for he would be fine.

The tall doors came into view and he sighed in relief, picking up his pace until he reached the door. He put his hand on the handle and pushed it down, feeling the door slide open. He walked through the open area and shut it behind him.

"What took you so long?" The female asked, turning on her heels and looking at him with her blood red eyes.

He gulped nervously, linking his fingers together and smiling, hoping she wasn't mad at him. "I'm sorry, Kendall. I was hanging with some friends and I lost track of time."

She tilted her head and made her way over to him, a soft sway to her body that had him instantly mesmerised. "That's okay. I forgive you." She was in front of him in seconds, putting a soft hand on his cheek.

He leaned into her touch and his smile softened. "You missed me, huh?"

"You could say that." She replied, putting her other hand on his chest and scratching her nails down the top of his shirt, dragging it down with her. "I'm also, very, very hungry."

Before he could blink he was laying back on the large bed and he smirked, watching her stalk over to him and straddle his waist. His hands landed on her hips and she leaned down close to him, moving her mouth towards his neck, her sharp fangs poking out from her gums.

"Is this alright? Do I have permission to drink from you?" No matter how many time he told her she didn't need to ask, she did anyway and it made him smile. She could act like the tough, non-caring bitch but he knew she held a soft spot for him and he meant more for her than just the blood bag he was originally called.

"Of course you can." She was much gentler than when they first started. Her fangs delicately broke his skin and he felt the blood drip from his neck and into her mouth.

This was a regular occurrence for him. She used to have many blood bags but after she found [name] and his intoxicating blood, drinking from anyone else tasted sour and she couldn't stand it. She never took more than she needed and she made sure he was okay and healthy. She had never acted this way towards a human before and the feelings she held scared her.

He brought his hand up and held the back of her head, closing his eyes and sighing in pleasure. So he had a blood drinking kink. Was that so bad?

She moved her head back up, blood dripping from her chin and she smiled down at him gently. "Tasty as always."

He moved his hand up and wiped the blood away from her chin. "Glad I could be of service." He chuckled. He could feel a wetness around his neck and grimaced, covering the wound. He liked giving her his blood but he hated when his blood was wasted on the bed.

She moved from his waste and was gone for a couple seconds before she was back with a large gauze, covering his neck so no more blood was spilt. She also didn't like seeing the tasty blood being wasted.

"Does it hurt?" She questioned.

"No." He shook his head, looking into her eyes and feeling himself fall even more in love with her. "Not at all."

There was a sense of relief in her and she walked away from him. "It's getting late. I'll call a car for you..."

He stuttered as she got her phone out and she raised her eyebrows at him. "Um, actually, my roommate has a girl over tonight and I kind of don't want to hear them going at it. Would you mind if... I stayed here for the night?"

She parted her lips unsure. "Hmm, I do have many other rooms you can stay in."

He grinned and laid back down on the bed. "I was actually hoping I could stay in here with you. We could even cuddle. It would be so sweet."

"I don't think so." She denied. "Don't get the idea that you're anything more than a blood bag I use to feed. You mean nothing else to me. So if you would like to stay, go find another room otherwise I will call you a car." She snapped at him, storming into the en-suite and slamming the door shut behind her.

He hadn't expected that reaction. Feeling hurt from the rejection, he stood from the bed and left the room. He didn't want to push her and upset her more.

Kendall walked over to the mirror and grabbed the sink, looking at her reflection with anger. "You idiot. Why did you snap at him?" She questioned. She was just scared. Vampire and humans aren't meant to be anything more than acquaintances. It never worked out when they were anything more.

She couldn't lose him and she was afraid if she were to act on her true feelings, one of her many enemy's would come after him to get to her. They wouldn't come after him if he were only known as a blood bag.

So if she had to hurt his feelings to make sure he was safe, that's what she would do.

But that's not what you want to do, her thoughts spoke back to her and she snarled at it. "Obviously that's not what I want but I can't be selfish with him. I don't care if anyone else does but him... he has to be safe."

He'll be safe if he's with with. Just be with him and be happy. It'll make you both happy - "Shut up!" She punched her fist forward and smashed the glass, the wound she received healing within seconds.

She looked at the door, half hoping [name] was gone and half hoping he was still there. She took in a deep, unnecessary breath before opening the door, seeing the room empty and a sadness overcame her. He left. Though she had no right to be mad, she was the one who told him to leave.

Sleeping in her overly large bed was more lonely then it ever had before.

And down the hall, [name] was feeling the exact same way.
