Hey, it's me, Wavelength, and I'm back from the dead with Miss Chief resurrecting my passion for writing and dragging me to hell with her. I guess life has been busy, and with quarantine, I have free time before eventually crashing and burning with our modern stock market crash of the 1920s. Now, of all fics, why this? Hashirama is daddy material, Tobirama is the ultimate tsundere, and Madara is just plain sexy. Just my kind of harem, y'know? And if you're here reading this, it's your type too lmao. The founders are so underrated and so is the Warring States Era. The world-building opportunities are wow!

Tis I, Miss Chief, and sksks Wavelength, don't call us out collectively like that. Anyway, I'm the co-author and editor of this fic, because I wanna refresh my editing skills, and it's not the same if you're doing it with your own work. I'm kinda excited with this collab because I often slack off on them. Just so ya'll know, Wavelength is the mastermind of this fic-- I have no hands in plotting it; I just refine some plot points and offer suggestions. Ultimately, this is Wavelength's idea!

~ The MC/Reader character already exists within both of Miss Chief's books of "Same As It Always Was" & "Same As It Never Was". This book is basically an AU of that Reader's character on What If: The Characters Lost The 4th Shinobi War. Don't worry, I'll do my best to relay that character's life in the prologue to give you all the gist on what her relationship was like with the canon characters, along with the skills she honed. This book is not necessarily dependent on Miss Chief's books. Think of it this way: I'm using Miss Chief's Reader as my template.

~ In Miss Chief's fics, she has no Otsutsuki gods bullshit. However, in this one, they do exist. Black Zetsu as Kaguya's Will, Kaguya, Hagoromo, Hamura-- I will stick to canon, unless I state otherwise. Like so:

~ Black Zetsu did and will NOT alter Hagoromo's stone tablet. The plot hole in this is whack. Black Zetsu did not possess the MS nor the Rinnegan, so how the hell did he understand it, much less alter it? So yeah, no. That's one problem Reader-chan won't be facing lol.

~ This is a reincarnation/time-travel fic. Basically, the MC gets to be reborn in the past and gets to have a second chance.

~ Because of the setting, some jutsus/techniques have yet to be refined or invented. As fanfic author, I get to have a say on what jutsu exists and what jutsu has yet to exist. Miss Chief and I agreed that since this is in the context of war, jutsus are in their rawest form. There would be a universal rule that all jutsus are invented to either kill or aid to kill, thus medical ninjutsu and space-time jutsus have not yet been invented-- along with the convenient jutsus such as kawarimi/substitution jutsu, henge/transformation jutsu, etc.
