Bailey's POV

Here goes Riley, swearing up and down about Noah Gragson, his old best friend. They raced trucks together, but now that he's been trading paint with Noah during practice, he's furious. I personally didn't have a problem with Noah, but part of me thought I did. Noah was a cocky son of a bitch, but strangely I found that attractive...kinda. I don't know. I was never noticed by him, so we didn't really interact. But because Riley was my brother, I had to back him up.

"Are you even listening to me?" Riley growls.

"Did you just growl at me?" I've never seen Riley sit down so fast. Even though I was still two years younger than him, and still shorter than him, he was still afraid of getting his ass kicked.

"Sorry." Riley say, looking down.

"That's what I thought. Okay, now, what were you saying? I wasn't paying attention." I asked, sitting down next to him.

"Noah thinks because he can intimidate others, he can make them do whatever he wants." He huffs.

"And your mad because you don't have that ability?" I cocked my head to the side.

"Shut up." Riley hits me with the pillow sitting on the opposite side of him on the couch. I laughed, throwing the pillow at him.  "We gotta go meet Harrison in the garage."

"Why do I have to go with?"

"Somethin to do. I thought you liked the cars?"

"I do. Just not when I have to sit there listening to you two bash other drivers. You're both rookies." I shrugged, following him out the door.

"Hey Harry!" Riley and Harrison do that handshake guys always do when they see each other.

"Hey dude. Hey Bailey." Harrison gives me a small wave.

"Hi." I smiled. They continued to talk, and I leaned against the wall, looking at all the hoods, parts, and cars that were in for repairs.

"Hey rookies." Noah smirks, walking by.

"Noah." Harrison acknowledges him.

"Who's the chick?" Noah nods towards me.

"My sister." Riley growls.

"Bailey. Damn she's grown. She's what? 18?"

"19." I smiled.

"You're still short." He chuckles. I smiled, almost making myself look stupid.

"Perfect height to continue kicking Riley's ass." I laughed.

"She's got fire burning in her eyes, ya'll could take a little of that fire and put it into your racing." Noah finally looks away at Harrison.

"Why are you here?" He was clearly annoyed.

"I don't really know." Noah smirks, winking at me before walking away. My heart just did a front flip. That was weird.

"We've got to keep him away from her." Riley thinks he's being discreet.

"I can still hear you, jackass." I rolled my eyes. "I appreciate you trying to protect me, but I'm 19. You don't have to be all that protective of me."

"You can't be too careful with him, Bailey. He's a certified fuckboy." Harrison looks at me. "He's got medals hanging all over his walls."

"That's right." Riley says. I knew there was no point in trying to talk some sense, but if that was the case, then I had to be careful.

"We should go get some pizza." Harrison says out of the blue, making me giggle.

"Agreed." I nodded, Riley nodded too. They changed out of their fire suits, and Harrison grabbed his keys, driving us across the street to the pizza place everyone in North Carolina loved. It wasn't a sit down place, so we improvised. Harrison brought down the tail gate of his truck, helping me up there. Then the boys handed me the pizza and drinks, then sat up on the walls of the back. We talked about random stuff, when I realized Harrison and Riley were glaring at someone. I looked around trying to figure out what was going on. Oh, it was Noah, him and Justin were walking in. Since when did Noah look so hot in sunglasses and his hat? Stop that.

"Did you guys really think you were the only people who wanted pizza?" Noah shakes his head.

"Hi Bailey!" Justin waves at me.

"Hi!" I waved back, then resumed eating.

"Copy cat."

"Guys. Chill. Don't act like third graders. How old are yall? 20 and 21. Act like it." I rolled my eyes.

"You don't understand Bailey. He's not a good guy." Harrison shakes his head.

"She does act old than both of us, you're the mom friend." I went to protest, but someone put their hat on my head, laughing.

"You look better in my merch than you do in your brothers." He smirks at me, leaning against the side of the truck.

I laughed, looking down at my brother's t-shirt I had on. It was just the plain black shirt with the monster logo on it, with our last name on the back in white. Noah gave me the black hat, so it matched a little.

"Thanks." I smiled at him, handing him a piece of pepperoni. "A token of gratitude." He smiles, taking the slice of pepperoni in his mouth and shaking his head as he walked away. I looked over at Riley who had his fists balled up.

"He did not want to do that. He shouldn't have flirted with you." Harrison laughs. "Dude, chill. He moves on quick, within the next 24 to 48 hours this won't mean anything to him if he doesn't stuff his dick in her."

"Woah!" I looked over at Harrison.

"Sorry. Forgot you were there for a second." He laughs.

"That's it! Harrison you're a genius!"

"He is?"

"Hey!" Harrison throws a little water at me.

"Now who's being a bully?"

"Guys! Bailey, you're staying in my bedroom in the motorhome until we are out of here. Harrison, I can't believe I ever doubted your intelligence."

"I'm a smart guy!"

*********************************************

"Riley! You're really doing this?" I asked, more like whined.

"Yes. I'm even locking the door to protect you." He says, shoving me into the RV. "I'll be back in a couple of hours." He says, locking it from the outside so I couldn't leave.

"Riley! You're insane!" I tried busting the door open with my shoulder, but it didn't work. "Why does it always work in movies?" I groaned, sitting on the couch and turning on the TV. I took out my phone and posted on my story in Instagram. I posted a picture of the TV, and the door being locked captioned: "Riley locked me in here, pretty sure its child abuse, but I have food and Tv so I guess its good."

About 20 minutes later, I jumped and screamed because I heard something hit the window. "Riley! I swear if that was you I'm kicking your ass twice. Once for locking me in here when it's like 100 degrees! And a second time for scaring the piss out of me." I opened the window and say Noah standing there looking up at me. I instantly blushed out of embarrassment.

"Oh hey." I smiled.

"Hey. Nice hat." He looks up at me.

"Oh yeah. I was just chilling with my brother and his friend when this guy comes by and puts it on my head." I giggled.

"Sounds like a cool guy. He's got good style." That made me laugh. "This is gonna sound creepy, but I saw your Instagram pop up on people you may know and saw your story. I know how hot it can get in Riley's motorhome. He's not a fan of air conditioning."

"You'd think we'd be used to the heat being as we live in the desert." I laughed.

"I know how Riley is, since he locked you in there for some reason. But I can get you anything you need."

"Water."

"I'll do that if you do something for me."

"What can I do for Noah Gragson? Nascar's Golden Boy?"

"I'm no Golden Boy." He snorts. "But you can add me back on Instagram." Noah smirks.

"Deal. How do I know I can trust you?"

"They talk a lot of smack do they?"

"They do."

"I guess you just have to go with your gut." He shrugs, walking away. I closed the window and sat back down on the couch. I closed my eyes and thought for a minute. Noah was right, I had to trust my gut.
