It was a busy day in Tokyolk Japan as a lanky Rooster inventor, and a jabbering red-shirt duckling, accompanied by a grey parrot boy entered Tokyolk International Air-Port.
"And here is a detailed schematic of a Boeing 747 jet liner, neat huh?"
Huey asked his robot best friend. However Boyd seemed distant. He looked back from the seat they were sitting at and stared out at the city.
"This is my home..."
Boyd said sullenly. Huey noticed this sadness in his friend and sought to bring a smile to the parrot-like robot once again.
"Its alright Boyd! We're sure to visit again, right Gyro?"
The Red-clad duck asked the distracted scientist. Gyro looked up from the map he was trying to read, and failing to do so.
"Hmm?"
He asked as both children got up and walked to him.
"I asked if we were going to come back here, Gyro."
Huey asked. The rooster looked annoyed.
"Lil' Bulb, read this map and find out the fastest route to gate J-47 please."
He handed the sentient light the map which he began to look at. Satisfied that his job had been adequately filled he kneeled to be eye level with the two.
"I have a lot of less than fond memories in this place, and I'm keen on making as much space between me and Dr. Akita as possible, so no, we are never coming back here. Ever."
He then had Lil' Bulb jump into his hand and hand him the map.
"Ah, it seems Lil' Bulb has found a route to our gate number, come on children, let's go to the gate before the plane arrives, so we can get a halfway decent meal before boarding."
He waved for the two to follow him. Huey saw how sad Boyd was, the young parrot was obviously upset, tears pricking up at the corners of his eyes. Huey felt bad for him, and wanted nothing more than to make him feel better, and protect him, it was the same feeling he got when Gyro threatened to shut him off, a fierce protectiveness over him. Huey clenched his fist as they walked.
"Huey? Are you mad at me?"
The sweet innocent robot asked stopping Huey from walking. Huey saw how worried Boyd was and changed his demeanor.
"I could never be mad at you... I'm just mad that a certain "COWARDLY CHICKEN" refuses to "FACE HIS IRRATIONAL FEARS OF A PLACE" called "TOKYOLK!!!!"
He shouted to intentionally get Gyro's attention, and it did.
"Cowardly?!?"
He stomped over to Huey and towered over him.
"I am no coward..."
He objected to Huey's statement. Huey stood and glared into the inventor's eyes.
"Prove it. Look into my eyes and say "I doctor Gyro Gearloose am not scared of Dr. Akita, that he is just one man, in a city thousands of miles away from me, in jail, who could not possibly harm me" I want you to say that, and make me believe it."
He said glaring into Gyro's eyes intently waiting for a response. Boyd tapped Huey's shoulder.3
"Huey, this isn't necessary, I'm okay never coming back here."
He urged Huey to back down. He turned to him and said.
"Your right, but this isn't so much about you, as it is about him, he's scared of this place, because of one man, I just want to show him that Akita is no longer a threat, and to defend your right as a real person that says you can go anywhere you like, without people controlling you."
