The blood pooled in the bag below, leaving a maroon hue. The room in whole it was blindingly white and sterile, only a small medical counter, with a small sink and the chair she was strapped on, there was a door in the far corner with a small hole, throughout the day she could see people passing through. Her eyes ached sore from the constant bright lights beating down on her, making her eyes feel raw and irritable. The chair was covered in her blood and vomit, making the room smell foul, she bled from her wrists, the chains digging deep within her flesh, as she hadn't moved within days. Her body was exhausted, from the lack of sleep, and pain.

The need for sleep was immeasurable, she could feel herself drifting off to sleep, her heart slowing, she shook herself what she could, she knew she couldn't fall back asleep, she had almost fallen asleep too many times since she had been in there. It's not like she could sleep anyway, anytime her heart went to a resting beat she was shocked, throughout her whole body. The fear of getting shocked caused her heart rate to skyrocket, the monitor beeping behind her.

She wasn't sure how she wasn't dead by this point, she assumed it had to do with the blood. Every day even when she was on rest in the bare room, they would come in and corner her, and inject her with the blue blood, she knew it was blood, some had been on her skin once, and she tried it. She regretted it after the metallic taste stayed in her mouth for days after, making her nauseous and unable to keep food down.

Lost in her thoughts she felt herself drifting to sleep, before being shocked with what felt like lightning shrinking her stomach making her dry heave and scream in pain. Her arms pulled on the restraints making her feel ever so vulnerable and weak. The monitor beeping sped up and slowed down again as if she was running, fear was a powerful thing.

She had been going through this the last two months she thought, before her life was bad, however it was never this bad, she had been part of a pack of her own kind, however she was rejected and pitied, this resulted in her being kicked to the curb when the kings guard came looking for volunteers from each pack, either given willingly or taken. She felt angry, Brian and his cocky aditude, he gave her up with no questions, she was powerless never able to shift, her 16th birthday had passed, and nothing, she was now 19 and was still waiting. She feared the day would never come, and was never given the chance to get medical help, no one would waste their time on her.

She remembered her friend Kayla, Brian had always hated their friendship, once they were batrothed to each other. He isolated Kayla from her, she didn't mind she knew she was going to have a much better life without the cloud of her weakness above them both.

A tear fell down her face onto her chest, she stared down onto the white clothing, stained with her vomit, and blood. She looked away nautious. She wasn't sure what kind of testing they were doing on her, all she knew is it was starting to take a real toll on her body, she wasn't sure if she could handle another round of the final tazing.

She almost always felt like her heart was beating out of her chest, and would kill her, she wished for death, to her the pain was a relief from the life she lived before however she wanted it to end.

She knew she wouldn't die from the tearing of her heart muscle; she was cursed she felt, never feeling comfortable within her own skin yet, bound to the earth with no one willing to take her, her mother never wanted her, she had been passing through the pack and had left her behind. Maybe she knew there was something wrong with me she thought.

She became distracted from her thoughts by her blood dropping into the blood bag, making the softest Drip drip, as it made its way from hose to bag it was slowly turning blue like the blood they had injected her with. She had no idea what they did with the blood they took out of her, she knew they most likely needed it for tests, but yet she hadn't cared or dared ask . She just wanted the pain to stop. It's not like they would have responded, They never did even when she tried or  had attacked, to them she was a object, a step to get to their greater goal.

Mia tried to keep her eyes awake, as the hours passed, her lack of blood mixed with the pure torment of being shocked repeatedly, kept her heart racing.

She was startled by a change in pace she knew with the movement behind the small window in the door it was morning. She could see a man in a medical bodysuit outside the door, hope filled her maybe just maybe she was getting out and would have time to recoup.

The man came into the room stopping at the end of the chair and observed her, she shifted uncomfortably the beating of the monitor ever increasing the longer the pair had locked eyes. She slowly clued in that she was not leaving this room quite yet and stayed dead still, the glint in the man's eyes causing her heart beat to sky rocket making the monitor beat like rain fall.

"Shock her at 10."  The man said with an almost bored tone, making his way behind her, to the small medical table, breaking eye contact. She pulled at the restraints wanting to get away however she was clouded by the fact she knew she couldn't.

The pain hit her like a bus, her body shook her muscles and body arched, unable to relax, she screamed, her throat raw. After what felt like minutes but was only seconds she collapsed with the fading current.

Her eyes opened to see ice eyes looking down upon her, other people had entered the room and were strapping her down, prepping her. They seemed unfazed by her pain, like they had seen it all before.

They knew her body was at the brink of fading, that she had nothing left in her, the man attached the hose to her new iv, and attached the hose full of blood on to her body. Mia could feel the burning spread throughout her body, they continued to check her vitals. One nurse turned the temperature down in the room as with in the dwindling moments she could feel her fingers going numb and fog filling up the plastic in their suits.

The burning continued to spread, reaching her heart, tears fell down her face, as she weakly tried to pull away, before her chest filled with a dull unbearable pain. The monitors flatlined, and she felt her eyes close, bringing her into the  darkness, for what she wished was forever.
