chapter one; the beginning

veronica's pov
im stuck inside my god damn room with me and the demons in my head. i mean i love my room, you know, no one to hurt you. its just you and your music. i should probably get into myself more than the shitty poetic shit i usually get into. well, im veronica, im 17 i go back to high school on monday but at least its only a year and then im out of that hell hole and then to college. i dont even want to go to college, i want to start a band with my closest friends: deanna, camille, and sydney. but of course my parents dont give a shit about what i want so i dont even matter, right? okay well, the thing is, is that i left school for 3 years for homeschool because of the bullying and the depression and anxiety. im coming back on monday and i dread the day when i walk into the rat infested place. im only going my senior year because thats the year i graduate. i lost all my friends and they all found new friends to replace me. so im starting my senior year with no friends and depression, a great mix, right?

*** 10:30 at night ***

as i turn on the music of my liking i go in the shower and wash my body and sing along to the music. as soon as i get out of the shower, my music stops and my phone rings. it was from a blocked number so i immediately panic. i answer it with a shaky voice saying "hello?" i then hear my ex boyfriend brandon say "im having a party, wanna come over, you know where my house is?" if you are wondering why his number is blocked is because when we were dating he cheated on me with the slut of the school. i answer back with "no, never call me again asshole." and hang up. i hated him with everything that i had and ever will have. i got changed into my pajamas with consisted of an old band shirt and worn out shorts. i picked up my phone and headed to my room to do my hair. i cried myself to sleep like usual and wondered what fun high school was going to be like tomorrow morning.
