It was always the same
a prince saves the princess
the prince and princess fall in love
they get married...
But what if it was different?
What if the princess saved herself?
What if the princess saved the prince?
What if the prince saved another prince?
We are always used to seeing the same thing
over and over again
we always want to be in fantasies
but it is always a different fantasy for everyone.
They could be the one who saves
they could be the one getting saved
and yet we still judge them.
We are still blinded that it is not a classic.
The princess always needs to be saved
the prince always needs to save her
a prince cannot save another prince
the princess cannot save the other princess.
We sit in silence wanting our fairytale to happen
but some hide
some hide because they are afraid
they are afraid they are not classic...
They are afraid that they will be
shunned...
hurt...
neglected...
But yet we stay happy and ignore that because we are classic
we are the normal fairytale that everyone tells their children to,
we are the fairytale that everyone loves
we are the fairytale that is "better" than any other.
They are the forgotten ones...
no one goes to read their fairytale...
no one wants to talk about their fairytale...
They are not class...
