Time stood and stared blankly at Nil. "I've heard your sob story, I'll just reset... Why do you constantly act like you'll change my mind?" She sighed, already ready to reset.
"No! I won't let you go!" Nil cried, grabbing Time and hugging her close, "Please, stay with me for one last eternity..." Nil begged, tightening her grip around Time.
Time sat still for a moment, freezing time for herself to think without upsetting Nil. She unpaused with a question, "Only one more eternity? Then you'll let me be with Space?" She asked, slowly letting her arms hug around Nil.
"Yes..." She whispered, burying her face in Time's shoulder, "Just... Give me this..." She sighed, easing into Time's arms with a content smile.
She was a void though. Taking everything away. She took Time's happiness, Time's love, any emotion Time could feel until she wasn't herself. Nil took everything from her.
The warm feeling from Nil was only met with cold. Nil could sense Time's emptiness. "What's wrong..? Do you hate me that much?" Nil asked, panic raising in her voice, "I love you, Time..." She muttered, trying not to cry.
Nil frowned, not able to describe how she felt for once. "I don't hate you..." She mumbled, "I don't feel anything... I don't hate you, I don't miss something, I don't love Space..." That last thing should have hurt to say but it didn't. That would have made Space so sad.
"Why won't you love me?" Nil asked, letting go of Time to look her in the eyes.
Time looked back, "You took my love... You've eaten away my soul... By keeping me here, like you kept me in your light. You trap me," She explained, not being sympathetic when Nil's tears ran, "You steal my power with yours. Your power drains me to nothing."
"..."
"I'm so alone..." Nil mumbled, pulling away from Time and stepping back.
