Strong arms were wrapped protectively around a small being as the figure moved through the city of Asgard, the frost giants had started attacking and the man needed to make sure his child found safety. A sweet voice whispered, soft green mist wrapped around the father and son, casting an aging spell on the sleeping boy. A lovely garden guard ran feverishly around a corner, obviously distraught before setting eyes on the man, "My prince!" She called, getting his attention. "We must get you to safety! Come with me!" She waved an armoured arm towards herself.
The prince nodded moving slowly, he knew this guard, she would spend time knitting with him in the garden. With a pleading voice, he spoke "I must ask you to take Petr to Midgard at once, May! I can not leave my Kingdom to stand alone, not in its time of need." May looked at him, shocked but before she could respond a large bolder had flown at them and crashed into the large wall directly behind them. Panic crossed both of their features.
Quickly kissing the small boys head he forced May to take the child into her arms. A small smile appearing on his face as a crystal tear rolled down his cheek "I trust you to do this May," he place a necklace into her open hand, "this necklace will help him appear human, and hide his magic." Taking his ring off he placed that in her hand as well, "If you need anything ever, May. Use this ring, if something happens it will alert me immediately." The woman grasped the objects in her hand tightly. "Now go!" The man spoke quickly.
Nodding, May turned with the boy "I will do my best my Prince Loki, I can not wait for our return to our home, glorious Asgard." With that, she took off, careful with the child as she maneuvered to the Bifrost. Heimdall seemed to had been waiting for them, "Palace Guard May, Asgard thanks you."
The floor began shaking as Heimdall motioned for May to get ready. The Bifrost opened and holding Petr tightly to her chest, May stepped through.
She found herself in a Midgardian home, decorated as Prince Loki would have. May smiled, 'Thank goodness Loki was prepared.' Wandering around she found a child's room and moved to place the still sleeping Petr into the green and gold crib.
After awhile, May had gotten used to living the life of a Midgardian.
Pushing the stroller with a 3 year old Peter as she had taken to calling him, May had bumped into a man causing him to drop his things. "O-oh I am so sorry! Let me get that for you." She knelt down to begin picking up the items and he chuckled softly also kneeling, "No no, it's totally fine. It was my fault I wasn't paying attention to where i was going."
May smiled softly looking up at the man, when they locked eyes Mays heart melted. The man seemed to feel the same as they both blushed and looked away.
The small boy laughed at the scene and May stood up, "you think thats funny, huh Peter?" The boy giggled and clapped his hands, the man moved up beside her "He yours?"
May shook her head, "Not quite, he is in my care though." The man nodded, "Oh I'm Ben by the way."
Time seemed to fly past, with Peter taking extreme interest in his father. The thought warmed Mays heart.
A larger, teenage Peter came barrelling into the kitchen, his fake glasses bouncing on his nose as he halted in front of May. Dropping his bag on the floor next to the circular table he dropped a blue paper on the table. "Hi aunt May! So I have this field trip to Oscorp-" as Peter talked May grabbed a pen and scribbled her signature down. Turning to continue drying the dishes, a smile on her face.
