It was finally the time.
In a couple of days, the Celestial Trial was about to start, and the new Celestial Star would be crowned. A shining star, setting an example to the rest of the school. A title with a lot of pressure, but one that the majority of the school aimed for with all they had. After all, it was a chance to shine!
Midnight read over the schedule in Mai and Tsubaki's dorm room.
"I'm on the third day," Tsubaki said, placing her phone down. "That shouldn't be too awful."
"The first day for me," Hinata said, "I'm not entirely sure why, though. I'm the top first-year yet they treat me like a joke."
"MeguruMeguru were first in the unit cup, yet they won."
"I suppose~," Hinata turned her attention to Mai, "So, what about you?"
"Last day. I'll be performing on the same day as Aino-senpai," she explained, "it's a lot of pressure."
"That would be," Tsubaki agreed, "But you can do it!"
"Thank you."
Hinata gave a small smile, looking over the schedule again. "I'm on the same day as Fukuyama-senpai," she said, biting her lip.
Last time Hinata had competed against Yoshi, the second-year had defeated her without breaking a sweat. From her perfect aura to her precise movements, Yoshi was perfect. As much as Hinata hated to admit it, she'd have to work hard to surpass her.

"I'm against Hinata-chan on the first day," Yoshi said, looking through the schedule herself, "The pyjama audition was so much fun!"
Asuka smiled. "I'll be on the second day, not long after you," she said. Her smile turned into a smirk. "Personally, I believe we've got this in the bag."
"Agreed! Asu-chan will win, and Yoshi-chan will be her faithful second. It's perfect!"
Pulling out her Aikatsu cards, Asuka looked through her deck once again. After a moment, she held them out to Yoshi.
"Choose one."
Surprised, Yoshi blinked, before pulling one out.
"The Sweet Dreams skirt," she read out loud.
Opening her guidebook to the correct page once again, Asuka read the fortune out. "Whichever goal you're pursuing will lead you to happiness, as long as you stay true to yourself... as expected, your victory is assured."
"My victory?" Yoshi echoes, cocking her head to the side. She grinned. "Of course! Thank you, Asu-chan!" She pumped her fist in the air. "I'll definitely have the highest score at the end of the day!"

Before long, the gymnasium and lesson rooms became gradually more and more full... even more so than it had during the unit cup.
"I've never seen it so busy..." Mai muttered, looking around at the bustling students, desperately getting any last-minute practise they could.
"I'm not surprised," Tsubaki said, "This event is one every student takes seriously."
"It's your biggest chance to catch the media's attention," Hinata agreed, "Not to mention, Aino-senpai is also the current the top idol. Taking her title also means taking her ranking."
Mai's eyes widened, but then she nodded. "A chance to challenge the top idol..." she looked to Tsubaki, then Hinata, "We absolutely can't let this go to waste!"
