Me and Jess could hear Conor’s voice it made me freeze, i couldn’t move a part of me really wanted to meet Conor , but the other part of me was thinking “What if he doesn’t like me?, What if he thinks I’m a freak?”. Jess stopped walking once she realised I wasn’t walking beside her anymore.“You alright Lou?..” she asked , all i could do was shake my head.“W-What if Conor thinks I’m weird and a freak?..”. Jess smiled at me“Giiiirrrrrlll have you seen me? I’m the biggest freak out there, Trust me he’ll like you, Now let’s go before Mr Maynard needs to perform”, She grabbed me by the arm and dragged me along with her,
We stopped as soon as we reached Conor’s backstage room, A tall hench guy stood in front guarding the door, He really scared me if i’m honest. “Passes please..” . Jess and I showed our passes . “In you go ladies” , He moved so that we could walk into the room and saw Conor speaking to Anth, Drew , Ross, Tonez and Jack.
Omg i cannot believe it! I’m breathing the same air as these people. Conor then spotted us and greeted us with a smile. “Hey you must be the Mayniacs who won the backstage passes”. I seriously didn’t know what to say, Jess saw that i was nervous and decided to speak on our behalf.
“Hey Con! And yes we are, this is so amazing!” , Conor then came closer to us and he looked at me, i couldn’t help but look down, i was so nervous, i then looked up at Conor who was having a convo with Jess, Then he turned to look at me and took my Vegas girl cap.“It looks good on you...” He then wore it “But it looks better on me. I laughed “S-Sure it does Conor”. His smile just made me melt inside he’s just so hot and amazing.
“So what’s your names?” he asked both of us . “Well i’m Louise but friends call me Lou” “And I’m Jessica”. I didn’t even know if I should hug Conor or jump on him right now I felt my knees shaking which wasn’t a good sign, I was scared to walk in case I dropped flat on the floor. “Well it’s a pleasure to meet you guys”. He then hugged us both, he smelt like heaven. “So how about we take some pictures?” he suggested. Me and Jess looked at each other and started singing pictures, we just couldn’t help it. Conor laughed then join in. Before we knew it the whole crew was mucking about.
First Jess took a picture with Conor, then I went, Conor wrapped his arm around me and done a peace sign, I just smiled awkwardly. The flash went off nearly blinding me, I blinked a couple of times before my vision was back to normal. Conor then got his phone out and ask Anth to take a photo of Me,him and Jess. “Sure thing bro” Anth replied, We all got into position and Anth took the picture, i wonder why Conor wanted a picture with us, Sadly he had to go because he was up next. “Well I’ll see you two later” he said emphasising the “two “. Me and Jess walked out the room, as soon as we did we jumped and screamed because we just met Conor! We rushed to our seats and sat down. The show was just getting started.
“CONOR CONOR CONOR!”
Was all I could hear, Mayniacs knew that Conor was up next, as soon as the crew came on everyone started screaming, The music, the lights came on. Seconds later Mayniacs spotted Conor and the screaming became intense, i will be lucky if i don’t turn death at the end of the show.
Conor started the show of with Animal, It sounds really amazing live, even better than the studio version!. For some reason i felt that conor was always looking at me, but that could have been my imagination, Me and Jess were seated close to where Jack and his friends were which was amazing...or should i say MAYNARDAZING! Sorry it’s a Mayniac thing.
Sadly the concert ended moments later, but i can guarantee you it was the best day of my life!. “Should we go backstage again, or do you want to go home?..” Jess asked. At first i was gonna say home, but then i remembered that i left my snapback backstage. “I forgot my snapback..but I’ll quickly get it and we can go” Jess nodded we made our way backstage and showed our passes again.
Conor looked a bit sweaty from the performance but he was still hot. “Hey welcome back girls!” He welcomed us, “Hey Con! Do you know where my snapback is, i accidently left it here”. Conor looked around then found it, he grabbed it but before he gave it to me he signed it.
“Oh is it okay if i check your phone? My battery died and it’s over there charging promise I won’t go to your photos” i nodded and grabbed my phone from my pocket, unlocked it and gave it to Conor, I wonder what he’s up to, seconds later he gave it back to me. “Thanks” he smiled, i looked down at the floor,my cheeks burning up. “So i’ll see you around Conor..” He let out a cheeky smile. “In a Beez!” I grabbed my Vegas girl snapback and walked out with Jess. This day was beyond amazing
