This story is intended for mature people it may have some trigger warnings along the way, I'll try not to make it too much but I feel it should be there to make the story feel real and if you are under 18 I wouldn't recommend reading this. But I can't stop you. So read at your own risk.*

It's been almost a week after they found the broken tree branch, they assumed that by this time they'd finally run into whoever was out there, things haven't been easy or peaceful for the most part, everyone was on edge. Ready to fight whoever came their way. But the fact that no one showed up made them feel even more nervous and the tension was unbreakable even with Louis's suggestions to lighten up the mood, no one could sleep well or eat well or do anything really.

They didn't go out for the week, they managed to get by with whatever supplies they had but they knew it was time for them to hit that music shop and get whatever was there. They had left a sign saying "walkers inside", just to make sure no one would go in there and take whatever's in there.

They also became more alerted whenever they were on the guard tower, and so far they didn't notice any sign of anyone around.

Things between Clementine and Violet were not getting any better or worse, they'd occasionally check up on each other and talk about what they'll do next. Clementine wanted to talk more to Violet and get closer. She needed her and she wanted to be there for Violet in her time of need as well, but there was so much going on with everyone that she just didn't have the time to do something about it so she just let it go.

She picked up her backpack and went on her way to get Violet and Louis to go and get the things from the music shop, she took a sharp tool with her to pick the lock and they got empty duffel bags just in case they find a lot of stuff.

She walked to the door of hers and AJ's room, but before she could open it she felt AJ's hand stopping her, she looked at him expectantly, waiting for him to say what's on his mind.

"Can I come this time? Please Clem." He pleaded with puppy eyes.

"AJ, you're the only one I trust to keep the others safe." Clementine smiled at him gently and took his little hand in hers.

"But Clem, last time you said that and I want to come with you and keep you safe." He tried to convince her.

"Listen goofball, I got Violet and Louis with me, I'll be okay and back before you know it." She sighed.

"Do you really have to go?" He frowned and looked down.

"Yeah, we're almost running out of supplies and we haven't gone fishing or hunting or anything for a while now."

"Okay Clem, I'll be here waiting but next time I'm not leaving you alone." He said with determination.

"You got it goofball." She said squeezing his hand and then let it go.

She opened the door and went to find the others.

Louis was fed up with all the tension in the air between everyone back at the school and now between the two girls walking beside him, he tried so many times to make the mood lighter but everyone was just so on edge and no one accepted his offers and they'd just go back to worrying and working hard to defend their home. Which he appreciated of course and took part in, but he knew that you also have to take care of your mental health in order to do things better.

"That's it," he started with a frown and crossed his arms. "We're gonna play a damn game."

Violet scoffed but didn't say anything, Clementine raised an eyebrow and said "What game? We need to be focused Lou."
