This one shot is inspired by Taylor Swift's song, Christmas Tree Farm. It was an idea sparked this morning at school lol. I hope you enjoy it! Also, there might be like three versions of this so stay tuned!

This is set about 2-4 four years into the future. They're alive. Willie and Alex have been dating for about 3-4 years now.

Outside POV

Willie and Alex were so tired and stressed from Christmas shopping. Willie had gotten back to the apartment early and decided to create something special for Alex.

Alex opened the door to their apartment, a few bags in hand from his Christmas shopping. He slowly walked through the door, seeing the lights dimmed. He turned slightly to close the door behind him with a confused look on his face.

"Willie?" Alex called into the apartment that seemed almost empty. Alex set down the bags on the table and walked into the living room area and saw Willie standing there waiting for him. Soft music was playing in the background and the fireplace was lit with a soft fire. Willie smiled seeing Alex walk into the room. Willie held out his hand and Alex took it, smiling.

"You know I can't dance." Alex mumbled, still smiling as Willie pulled him in.

"Well we can just sway like we did at prom." Willie whispered, gently draping his arms around Alex's neck and leaning their foreheads together while Alex wrapped his arms around the small of Willie's back.

After a minute of Willie and Alex enjoying each other's presence and just being in each other's arms Alex pulled his head back a little. "You did all this for me? I just went out and bought presents for people. I feel so stupid. I just... I didn't know and it's like Christmas eve and I was so stressed because I didn't get all of my shopping done and-"

"Alex." Willie interrupted Alex's usual ranting from when he was feeling anxious or was about to have an anxiety attack.

"Yeah?"

"I didn't tell you to do anything because you, being here with me, is all that I could want for Christmas."

Alex smiled, knowing he was content."God, I love you so much." He pulled Willie in for a hug.

"I love you, too." Willie pulled away from the hug. "And on that note, I know you don't like surprises, and I can't say this will be the last one but..." Willie got down on one knee and pulled a small box out from behind him.

Alex covered his mouth, tears welling up in his eyes.

"That day that I ran into you with my skateboard was probably the best day of my life. Yes, it hurt but it just so happened that the guy I ran into was lost and we talked. We then became friends and from the moment I ran into you I just knew you had a crush on me. It was so obvious and you're always so cute when you're flustered or people would mention anything about us. Then, after you played the Orpheum and we both got brought back to life, you came running to me because that was your first thought. When you kissed me... it was the best feeling ever and I want to be there, in your arms, with that feeling for the rest of my life. So... Alex Mercer... will you marry me?"

Alex was so overwhelmed but he knew what to say. "YES! Of course! Yes!"

Willie smiled and got up, sliding the ring onto Alex's finger and kissing him. After a while the two pulled away, still smiling.

"Now I really feel bad for not getting you more." Alex said, pursing his lips.

"Alex. Baby, stop. You gave me the one present I wanted this year and that was for you to say yes." Willie reassured Alex, pulling him back towards him. They swayed again to Christmas Tree Farm by Taylor Swift in the background.

"Merry Christmas, baby." Alex said.

"Merry Christmas." Willie said, reconnecting their foreheads as they had earlier. The music faded and the two enjoyed swaying into the night in each other's embrace.
