Chapter 17

It was about 1am and I was lounging on the couch watching New Girl when Ricardo walked in. He saw me and sat on the couch.

"So how was your date with Ali?" I sat up and turned the tv down

"Oh it was great, I really like her." He said with a big smile on his face as he took his shoes off

"Aww that's great. Is she going to Jarrad's bonfire tonight?" I got up and began to walk to the kitchen

"Yeah I think so, we didn't really talk about that" he followed me and sat at the counter "Did you help her pick that dress out It was really pretty" he laughed and took a strawberry out of my bowl

"Nah, she picked it out I just agreed with it." I smiled and handed him the bowl "I think I'm gonna go to bed, I was just waiting for you so I could ask you about your date" I gave him a hug and headed upstairs to find where Jc had crashed.

For the first time ever, I was the first one to wake up. I decided to be nice, so I lightly unraveled myself off of Jc and headed downstairs to make the boys breakfast.

"Wow Kaitlyn, since when are you the first one up" Connor sat down at the counter a couple of minutes later

"I don't know, weird right?" I handed him a plate of pancakes, eggs, and bacon.

"Oh wow yum, thanks" he smiled and dug in

One after another the boys seemed to wake up amazed by the fact that I was awake...making breakfast at that.

"What time are we leaving for the bonfire" I asked Kian as he brought me his plate

"Umm I don't know like 7? We have a half an hour drive or so and it starts at 7..." he began to dry the dishes

"Oh ok sounds good" I smiled and handed him a cup

It was a lazy day, we all just sat and watched movies and Ricky filmed his O2L video. It was about 5:00 and I got up off the couch "I'm gonna go get ready" I gave Jc a kiss and headed upstairs

I got in the shower and heard the door open "SAM I DON'T CARE HOW BAD YOU HAVE TO PEE! GET OUT"

There wasn't a response so I poked my head out of the curtain and saw Jc taking his basketball shorts off "Hi" he looked up at me

"Oh my gosh Jc, what do you think you're doing?"

"All the other showers are taken and I want to have time to eat before we leave!" He gave me a panicked look

I laughed "Ok come on"

We got out about an hour later and wrapped up in towels, I then began to blow dry my hair. Jc kissed my shoulder and walked out. I laughed to myself and began to sing a bit of The Maine to myself.

"KAITLYN! YOU'VE BEEN IN THERE FOREVER OPEN THE DOOR I HAVE TO PEE!" I already knew it was Sam, so I opened the door and he ran it "Don't look at me" he hissed

"Oh yeah Sam cause that's my main goal, to watch you pee" I began to straighten my hair

"Oh, we're leaving in 20" he zipped up his pants and pushed me out of the way so he could wash his hands

"Hey watch out!" I laughed as I grabbed my eyeliner

"Are you done with that?" he grabbed the straightener and began to bring it to his hair.

"Yeah" I walked out and went to Kian's room to get changed. I put on a grey sheer button up and black high waisted shorts and begun to search for my studded flats.

"Kaitlyn! We're leaving!" I heard Kian come into his room

"Ok coming" I ran out of the closet and grabbed my bag accidentally running into him. We both fell onto the bed, we locked eyes and I smiled at him. "Well we better go" I said getting off of him and grabbing his hand rushing down the stairs.
