The dusk of wind blows coldly as the eerie glow of a gloomy night suddenly appeared. It was terrifying for any person who would walk and get lost upon this haunted forest covered by the thick canopy that only a very little light reaches the forest floor.

My vision was obscured by the thick and heavy fog blocking the way as I step forward, studying the way out. It was an immensely hopeless case that could make everyone dies with the feeling of horrified. If I were them, I would cry and break down, but Instead, I bravely stood up.

I am not a weak person. For years that I have been struggling and dealing with various kinds of fears, my parents successfully shaped me to become stronger and face my fears as much as I can.

Making my steps faster than what I did earlier to escape the dark and misty forest, I walked straight, almost running amidst the foggy ambiance until I reached the middle of it.

"Arghhhhhh!" a screaming sound of a man appears in my ears as I continued walking near it.

Fear is the first thing that my body felt after I heard his low and baritone voice. I tried walking slower this time, being careful with my steps, I followed the way that the scream came in.

A man wearing a gray hoodie with his sweatpants looking in his direction suddenly turned his face in front of me. Finally, I can see the man who owns the voice that I heard just a while ago.

Desire and optimism hit me as I looked at his sharp, stormy gray eyes fringed with long lashes. He has this pointed nose with his Cupid's bow-like pale lips that fell open. His jaw dropped after seeing me. I cannot utter a word.

This man is undeniably gorgeous, and I can almost feel myself being hypnotized by his looks for an extended period without even complaining.

Wow.

"Who are you? And why are you here?" his eyes blazed with pleasure while his pupil flared with desire - the same feeling that I have felt just a while ago - yet he lifted an eyebrow.

He took a bit step towards me; I moved backward.

"Move back, Milord. We have the same fate here! An armed man got me and put me inside this forest. He stabbed my wrist and thought he had killed me, but the cut wasn't deep and I pretended that I died. When I noticed that he left, I started wandering around and think of my way out," I clearly explained to him.

He slouched; his mouth snapped shut.

"What about you? What is the beautiful beast doing here in the middle of a spooky forest at this dark and gloomy night?" I asked. He then stopped; a muscle in his arms twitched. A corner of his mouth lifted.

"Beautiful beast, huh?" he laughed.

When I felt relaxed, I moved forward beside his pace.

"Well, as you see, Milady. I am trying to find something here, but the fogs kept blocking my way, and I am starting to be irritated. When I tried to go back, I suddenly lost my direction and got annoyed even more." His expression darkened.

"Is that true?" I asked, not believing what he said earlier.

He chewed his bottom lip.

"Why? Do I look like a sort of some monsters to you?" he gave a lope-sided grin.

"Yes, you do. You look like a bad vampire," I stated.

"I wish I am." He smirked and moved closer, beside me.

"If you're not, then join me. Let's move faster so we could go back to where we came from." I told him as I walked back again, finding the right direction. He seems hesitant at first, but he still followed.
