"You need to go, now!"

"Go whe ...."

"No time for questions, just listen. You are a smart kid, you always have been, and that is why I trust you to do the right thing. So please go and do never come back. You understand me, never! This is what your mum wanted to."

A thousand questions roomed around in my head. But before I was able to ask any of them grandma pulled me into a tight hug.

"I have always known this would happen. But I thought I would have more time" When she pulled away a tear was running down her face.

"Grandma, why wont you tell me what's ha – ..."

"Shhh, no questions, go now. To the park. The twins will be there". She said, pushing me out into the night.

I run as if my life depends on it. Because maybe it does. A mixture of fear and adrenaline kicking trough my body. I needed to find out what was happening. And the only way to do that was by finding the twins. So, to the park it was.

I was about halfway there when I felt something wet hitting my face. At first I thought it was sweat, but I soon realized that it had started raining. It quickly went from just a few droplets to pouring down cats and dogs. As my mum always use to say. She said it was an old saying, but I never really understood why people would say such a thing. Then I remembered that I didn't know were my mum was. And started thinking about how weird she had been acting yesterday night. "I love you, remember that ok. No matter what happens, or what you may think of me ... I still love you".

I could still hear her voice in my head. The raindrops were mixing with tears making it hard for me to see. It didn't make it any better that the rain was ruining my hair. It used to be tied back in a tight braid. But the rain had loosened it a bit, making a bunch of the hair fall down onto my face. Making it even harder to see.

When I finally arrived at the park I was soaked and freezing. It was autumn and cold outside, and I was certainly not dressed for a weather like this. I realized this was a public place so people might get suspicious of me if came running completely out of breath. So I brought down my pace and forced myself to breath slower even though it felt like my lungs were on fire.

There I was, teeth chattering, burning eyes, and lungs that were about to explode. But my body was so filled with adrenalin I didn't even mind. All I could think about was finding the twins. I brought my hand up to my hair, trying to sweep it out of my face. Before entering the park. As I looked around in the glade that was known as the park in town, I quickly noticed the twins. They were standing in a corner by themselves. As usual acting completely normal. How did they do that?

Slowly I approached them. Staying as calm as possible. Trying to mimic their behavior.

"Good evening, brother, sister.", I said carefully as I reached them. I could tell by their faces that I looked like a mess. They looked at me as I were some kind of hurt animal. It annoyed me. I had always felt like they looked down at me somehow.

"Good evening sister." They answered in unison. "May loyalty be with you". A smile on their faces. Though it didn't reach their eyes.

"We better get going" The boy said casually. Gesturing for me to follow them.

"Go where?" I asked, confused. Following them.

"Our house of course."

"May I ask where that is"

The girl carefully looked around. Checking if anyone were listening, before whispering.

"Across Aker and Enndingsdal".

Fear raged trough my body. Now I understood. What my grandma had meant by "never coming back". It all made sense now. The twins were not just normal rebels. No, because they were the kind of rebels that weren't even from the north west proviant. They were from the north-east proviant. They were Swedish.

The societies worst enemies.
