"Leah, come on! Alice said she'd do everything for you there," I groaned. Leah was taking forever to shower and I only waited for her by the door.

"Shut up and let me shower in peace!" Leah had yelled back to me, continuing to hum some random song.

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms, stepping away from the door. I sat on the couch before looking up at myself in the mirror. Alice insisted that I was the Joker from the comics. I was wearing my outfit, but she wanted to do the makeup and dye my hair green, which I was not looking forward to.

The part would be starting in two hours, and Alice said to come two hours early, so we were practically already late, thanks to a certain she-wolf.

Minutes later, the bathroom door opened and Leah was wearing a towel as she walked into the room to change. "Hurry up!" I called out to her, groaning slightly, throwing my head back, over the couch as I tried my best to wait patiently. I glanced around the room, seeing a bunch of dust in the corners. My ears picked up on the sounds outside, near the beach, a couple of birds and people.

Leah soon emerged from the room and put on her shoes. She was wearing a typical blue, white and pink costume and I only smirked, jumping up and grabbing my keys from the table. "What's it like wearing a skirt?" I teased.

She turned around and elbowed me in the ribs and I only groaned and nodded, "good to know."

"Shut up."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," I grumbled and walked outside, turning my car on. When we got in, I drove to the Cullen's, tapping my fingers against the wheel in tune to the song on the radio that Leah had put on.

When we got there, Leah got out, scrunching her nose up. "We'll be fine, it's just a Halloween party," I mumbled to her and took her hand, pulling her inside the doors.

Alice immediately flitted down, grabbing mine and Leah's hands, and rushed us upstairs to her beauty room. She sat me down without speaking and had began putting a bunch of crap in my hair.

"You two give me no time, I swear," she mumbled under her breath.

"Blame Leah," I said to her. "She's the one who was having a concert in the shower."

Leah turned around and glared at me, slapping me arm. "Shut up, I wasn't having a concert, you idiot. I was humming—there's a difference."

"Yeah, yeah. Same fucking difference," I muttered to myself as Alice suddenly put green hair dye in my hair. My eyes widened. "Fuck, this stuff comes out, right, shortie?" I asked, a nervous chuckle laced with my words.

"Yeah, soon enough," Alice hummed as I only groaned.

Leah snickered and I turned to her, "I don't know what you're laughing about. You're getting your hair dyed blonde."

Leah stopped middle snort and shook her head, "no I'm not. I'm gonna be a black haired Harley Quinn," she hummed. "Alice is letting me, mostly because she knows I'll kill her if she touches my hair. I mean hell, you guys already made me cut it super short."

I rolled my eyes, she was still not over that. "That's not fair."

"Just be quiet and take it like a man," Leah said as she was glancing at all of the nail polishes that Alice had.

"Aw, fuck off, harpy," I whined.

Leah sent me a threatening glare and I weakly smiled at her. "Sorry."

Alice messed around with my hair forever and soon finished. When she spun me around so I could look, I only let out a deep sigh. It would take me forever to take this stuff out.

"Thanks," I mumbled weakly and soon got up so Leah could sit in the chair.

Rosalie walked in and snickered, "I wonder if you turn into a dog, you'll be green?" She asked, smirking.

I rolled my eyes at her, "hey, Blondie, here's a joke for ya. Why couldn't the blonde add ten and five on a calculator?"

Rosalie looked at me unamused.

"It's 'cause she couldn't find the ten on the calculator," I snickered, sending her a lazy grin.

"Your jokes are not funny," she seethed to me and walked off with an exasperated huff.

I rolled my eyes and turned back around to Leah and Alice. "I thought it was funny," I said with a shrug.

Alice had put blue and pink hair chalk in Leah's hair and I chuckled.

Alice put on Leah's makeup while I sat around, bored. Emmett was out hunting with Jasper, and Bella, Edward and Ness were at their cottage. Esme was cooking, and Carlisle was working, so I had nobody to talk to or annoy.

"Here, take this," Alice muttered, handing me a book and I only scrunched up my nose.

"Ew, gross. I don't read."

Leah looked at me in the mirror, "I love that book, give it to me then."

I held it to my chest, "no, I like reading now," I teased and opened it up.

She groaned, "you only wanna read it now because I want to," she snapped.

I snickered, "you're not wrong, that's exactly why I'm doing it," I smirked as I flipped to the first page. "What book is this anyway?" I mumbled to myself and opened it up. Hm, To Kill A Mocking Bird by Harper Lee.

"It looks boring," I mumbled. "Oh, it's narrated by some kid who's like six," I mumbled and read through it.

I caught Leah only roll her eyes in the mirror and snickered.

"And I'm done!" Alice had exclaimed, thirty minutes later, pulling away to show off her masterpiece. Leah had pink and blue hair chalk in some of her hair and I snickered. She had the messy lipstick and fake tattoos.

"Looking good—Alice, you did a good job," I said with a small grin as Leah stood up, rolling her eyes.

"My goal was to not dye my hair," she muttered. Leah looked at her pigtails and tightened them a bit. She walked over to her wooden bat and grabbed it, putting it over her shoulder. "Why are we even matching in the first place? I didn't want to be matching with you."

"Ouch, Lee. I'm hurt. I thought we'd look cute if we matched," I taunted, my dark eyes narrowing at her as I looked at my outfit in the mirror. "No, Alice forced us." I turned to look at the pixie and gave her a sarcastic grin as she only giggled in response.

"Well, the part starts right now," Alice said and clapped her hands. She ran out of the room, probably to change and I could hear the door opening downstairs.

"Let's get this party started!" Quil whooped as I heard Embry's chuckles from behind. I walked down the stairs with Leah, letting her walk in front as I looked at Quil. He was dressed as some fancy guy, he was wearing a suit and everything.

I snickered, "wow, Quil. You look like that time at our prom when you took your cousin."

Quil frowned, holding a bottle of whiskey in his hands. "Fuck you, Jake."

I snorted. "Yeah, right."

And with that, the party began.
