INTRO: Meet the Styles'

Mackenzie is one of the lucky few that not only got to date one of the members of One Direction, but got to marry one of them too. No matter what she says, Harry thinks she is terrifically perfect; long ginger hair, emerald green eyes, freckles covering her body from head to toe. He doesn't only love how she looks, but he also thinks she is very funny, laid-back, and down-to-earth; making them the perfect couple. Mackenzie often says that Harry is too good for her; he treats her like the princess she isn't but she loves all the attention she gets and never takes him for granted.

They first met at One Direction's concert in NYC, Mackenzie with her best friend. Harry overlooked Mackenzie at first, she seemed like the normal VIP fan in one of the band's shirts. Harry was talking to an obnoxiously skinny, obviously fake blonde girl when he hears Niall burst out laughing. He turns around to see Niall with Mackenzie and her friend having a fantastic time laughing and goofing around cracking jokes, so Harry excuses himself from that girl to see what all the hullabaloo was about. As he walks forward he can't help but notice how surprisingly beautiful Mackenzie actually was; she had a curve to her body that he had never seen on any girl before, her hair was straight except for the ringlets at the ends due to the heat of the summer making it a little noticeable that she tried to straighten it, but with the way it fell perfectly in the middle of her back just below her shoulder blades he didn't seem to mind at all. Harry realized he was starring at her when he suddenly made eye contact with her, making her blush and turn her body in, exaggerating her interest in the conversation. Harry finally made it over to their group and said the only thing that could come to his mind, "hello."

His deep, rugged British accent made Mackenzie go weak at the knees and need to forcibly remember to breathe. She looked into his eyes once and immediately looked down at her $2 black Old Navy flip-flops not helping the smile that just couldn't leave her face. The next thing she knew was in her vision of the building floor she saw, in comparison to her feet, humungous shoes. Before she had the chance to look up, a gentle hand was placed under her chin nudging her face up to meet the eyes of the one and only Harry Styles. Harry had already planned what to say, suave and all, but once he saw the sparkle in her eyes he forgot everything. He got extremely close to her and sang the words to the chorus of their hit song "What Makes You Beautiful" at a whisper. She couldn't help but giggle and push her hair out of her face. While Harry made the generalization that what he did was really cheesy, neither of them moved for around a minute, giving Harry the time to realize that she was just as tall as him, around 5 foot 10 inches. Mackenzie being who she was felt awkward, so she stepped back, and trying make a joke out of it yelled "awkward" in a funny tone of voice. Everyone there but Harry burst out laughing, Mackenzie tried to produce a fake laugh but she could feel Harry's stare and couldn't help but make eye contact. He gave her a sad, helpless look, and feeling obligated she took him aside into an empty hallway to talk.

She apologized and tried to explain herself, but she kept running over her words, stuttering and hesitating to the point she got lost in her own words. She was trying to tell him that every relationship she had ever been in had turned out badly and how she now couldn't seem to trust anyone that appeared to have feelings for her, but before she knew it she started to cry. Harry pulled her into a hug until she stopped sobbing and then offered to take her into his dressing room to get some tissues and clean herself up if need be, but added that she looked beautiful no matter what. She smiled and nodded as he took her by the waist and lead her into his dressing room where she saw a box of tissues on the table to the right. She pulled away from his hold on her and started towards the box of tissues. When Harry realized what she was doing, he jumped ahead of her, leaped over the back of the sofa in the middle of the room, sat down, looked to her, and patted the cushion next to his motioning for her to sit down. She took up his offering and sat down, and for the next few hours they talked and talked until Paul came in seeming to be in a rush saying that her friend was looking for her. Mackenzie jumped up and almost ran towards the door realizing what time it was, but before she could get out Harry grabbed her hand and asked for her number. Of course she gave it to him, and that same night he texted her. She was ecstatic.

As you realize from the beginning, Mackenzie and Harry went on lots of dates, two years worth of them to be exact. And on her favorite day, June 16, he proposed to her in their apartment on a Thursday morning of any normal week by sticking the ring in the top pancake of her stack of pancakes he made for her. She said yes, and by the winter of that same year they were walking down the aisle in Mackenzie's hometown backyard. Both families loved the other and everyone got along fabulously making the formation of the wedding easy. Gemma and Mackenzie's best friend from the concert were her maids of honor and the boys from the band were Harry's best men. Ironically, the day of the wedding was Thursday December 16 in the morning as they both had chosen. That same day all of Mackenzie's things were shipped to London where they were to be officially living from then on. It was a sad goodbye but Mackenzie promised she would be back to visit everyone. That night only Harry and Mackenzie were on the flight home, by request of Harry, and that was the start of their new life. Three years later, they adopted their first daughter, Darcy, named by Harry and two years after that another boy named Rowan, by Mackenzie. Mackenzie finished her social-working degree at home and struggles to work with Harry's crazy schedule, him still being a celebrity. Harry loves his job, family, friends, but also seems to struggle with trying to get more time to go home and see his family as do the other boys.

At the start of this story, Mackenzie has just turned 30 and Harry 32. Darcy is turning 6 soon leaving Rowan to be around 4. They live in a new house still in London big enough for all of them and a few more. Harry has been home for an abundant amount of time and Mackenzie is happily taking up more time at work doing the things she loves. Everything seems to be perfect.
