Willow lass

As the winter winds blew
And all leave did shake,
And as loose feathers did fall.
Then snow covered yon boughs,
And silence wrought on thee
Lives felt so dead .
Birds and bees nor dance;
And moonlight drift through mist.

In the midst of snow bedded wood ,
Lives she in her hut
A pale poor lass
In her state of woe.

Had she lost someone dear?
Or have no food to take?
Had she no one to play with her?
All alone is she in blizzard's
Desolate.

This the feeling of her came
To me,
In my fifth floored flat
In dusty summer's town .
All alone I am ,even
In my dears' nest .
It felt like an unwanted visitor ,
Or a vampire thirsty for blood,
Or a shipman knows end came
Or a willow maiden in desolate wood.

Like a toddler lost in dark
She cries her own in vain-
Came May's ray, warm
Her frozen heart
Let light fall on me , and
Move away my foggy past.

( I also wrote a sequel for this one actually apart for 'girl by river ' it's the second of my favorite one, I also composed a very very short melody for this one 'as winter winds blow' and taken the front picture form classical 'willow maid ' by Erutan . )
