Nesryn huffed in annoyance as she watched Bella drive up to her house with two motorbikes in the bed of her truck. She had a tarp over them. Nesryn never really liked Bella. Maybe it was because of Bella just playing with her brother, Jacob's heart. She desperately wanted to punch Bella in the face, but she refrained from doing so. Bella looked at Nesryn who was sitting on top of the railing of the ramp, she smiled at the young teen, only to earn an eyeroll.

A few weeks pass and the motorbikes are finished. Bella would still come around. It was dinner, Bella went home a few hours before. The Black family was sitting at the dinner table eating when Jacob announced that he would be going to the movies with Bella and her friends.

"So Bella invited me to the movies with her friends." Jacob said.

"Oh?" Billy said, "Are you going to go?"

"Yeah. She wanted to watch a movie called Face Punch," Jacob said, with a mouth full of fish.

"You can't be serious." Nesryn said in disbelief.

"About what?" Jacob looked genuinely confused.

"You are going to watch a lame movie with a girl who is using you to forget about her ex boyfriend." Nesryn slammed her fork down. Billy looked dumbfounded at her outburst.

"She isn't using me." Jacob said in a low voice.

"Quit lying to yourself Jacob." Nesryn's voice was matching her brother's

"Bella isn't like that. She is a good person." Jacob glared at his younger sister.

Nesryn opened her mouth to shoot back when Billy interrupts with a stern tone, "Nesryn. That is enough. Jacob can go and watch a movie with Bella's friends if he wants."

Nesryn huffed and cleared her plate and walked to her room. She lay on her bed and puffed her cheeks in annoyance. Going to go see a movie that he isn't going to like for a girl? A girl that doesn't like him? Unbelievable. She stayed there on the bed for a bit until she heard Billy knock on Nesryn's door.

"Come in." She responded quietly.

"I just wanted to say goodnight." he said.

"Goodnight Dad. I love you." She smiles at him and gives him a kiss on the cheek, "Tell Jake I said goodnight also."

Billy nodded his head and closed the door behind him when he left her room.

She kicked a few rocks while she walked to the Clearwater's home. Nesryn was good friends with Sue's eldest daughter, Leah. She never really met their son, Seth. Seth was her age but she was a grade ahead of him. She met him once when they were 8. She just never talked to him again. Nesryn knocked on the door of the Clearwater's home, seeing Sue open the door.

"Hi Ryn! We weren't expecting you to be coming! Come in! Leah is up in her room." Sue smiled, ushering the young teen into the door.

"Thank you Sue." Nesryn smiled briefly at the older woman before she bounded up the stairs and into Leah's room.

"Oh hey." Leah was laying on her bed vertically listening to music on an iPod, and reading Romeo and Juliet.

"Nice book." Nesryn joked, as she flopped beside the older girl.

"Oh haha," Leah said sarcastically as she pulled the headphones from her ear, "You seem annoyed. What's up?"

Nesryn groaned, "Don't even get me started. I had to get out of the house before I broke one of Jake's legs so he couldn't go to the movies with Bella."

"That wouldn't stop him. He's obsessed with that Bella girl." Leah said.

"Yeah I know. I am just worried about him that's all. Bella is playing him like a harp. Next time I see her, she better run as fast as she can." Nesryn said angrily and sat up from the bed to sit crossed legged.

Leah looked at her and quirked an eyebrow, "What the heck is going on in that brain of yours?"

"Oh nothing much. Just ways to hide a body." she joked.

"Hm. Seems like something you would think about."

"Hey what does that mean?!" Nesryn crossed her arms, pouting slightly.

"Nothing." She laughed, ruffling Nesryn's long hair.

Nesryn looked at the clock on the wall of Leah's room, "Well I gotta go. Dad doesn't know I'm out and I have to get home before he notices I'm gone."

"I'll walk you to the door."

"Bye Leah! Oh and tell Seth to quit avoiding me! It's weird!" Nesryn laughed, shoving her hands, into her jacket pockets.

Leah laughed also, "Will do!"

Nesryn opened the window to her room and crawled in. She shrugged her jacket off and kicked off her shoes. She knocked on her brother's door and opened it. He wasn't there. He must have went to go watch the movie with Bella. Nesryn shrugged and yawned, stretching her arms over her head, making her white t-shirt rise slightly. She heard the door open and slam. She heard things knock over and an animalistic growl. She opened her door to see Jacob shaking, gripping the counter with all of his might.

"Jake? You all right?" Nesryn asked timidly. Nesryn walked slowly towards her brother and put her hand on his shoulder. He was hot to the touch, "Jake what happened? You have a fe- oof!"

Before Nesyrn could finish her sentence Jacob pushed her away from him, making her fall onto the ground. Billy was out of his room looking fully aware of what was happening, "Nesryn go get Sam now."

"But dad-" Nesryn started.

"NOW!" Billy yelled.

Nesryn nodded her head quickly and scrambled up from the floor and to the Uley residence.

She knocked on the door rapidly. Emily opened the door, groggily, "Nesryn? What are you doing up this late? Wh-why are you here?"

"I need to talk to Sam. It's urgent." Nesryn, said.

Sam was already dressed and knew what was happening. He ran out of the door and to the Black's house. Nesryn was about to follow when Emily grabbed her gently by the arm and said in a soft voice, "Nesryn, why don't you stay here with me? I don't want you to get hurt.."

Nesryn looked at Emily with a confused look on her face, "Wh-what do you mean? What is happening? Is Jake alright?"

Emily ushered the shaking teen inside and directing her to the sofa, "Stay right there. I'll make you some hot chocolate with extra marshmallows."

Nesryn sat there, the pain in her side from where Jake hit her, did not go unnoticed. Emily came back, with two coffee mugs in her hands. She sat down next to the teen, who was wringing her hands nervously.

"Ryn? Are you okay? Did Jake hurt you?" Emily asked as Nesryn touched her side where it hurt. Emily touched her side making the teen wince and move away from the touch.

"Oh dear. Can you pull your shirt up so I can see what happened?" Emily asked as she migrated to the kitchen with Nesryn following her, "Just sit up on the counter please."

Nesryn winced as she jumped onto the counter and pulled up her white t-shirt, a large bruise already forming on her abdomen. Emily sighed and put some numbing cream on the bruise and wrapped it up tightly.

It was quiet for a few hours. Nesryn was still with Emily and it was getting brighter outside. The teen wanted to know what was happening to her brother. Was he okay? Why was he acting like that? Why did Sam have to go over there? Why couldn't she be there?

Her thoughts were stopped when the door opened to reveal Sam. He nodded his head to Emily and sat down on the sofa.

Emily finally let Nesryn leave and when she arrived back home Jake was gone.
