Clary's POV:

It's been one year since I've seen my friends. I'm a kindergarten teacher with my sister Addi and I have a boyfriend. His name is Josh. Everyday I get a text from Sereniti telling me how her day has went and how much she misses me. I get texts from Lydia and Calum and Michael saying they love and miss me. But that's about it. No texts from Luke or Sydney. I wonder how their baby is doing...

I get in my dress pants and a nice shirt with black flats. I curl my hair and put my jacket and grab my coat and walk out the door.

Josh is suppose to meet me at the coffee shop. I honestly love him with all of my heart.

I start walking to the coffee shop when I see a boy with perfect blonde hair but his back is facing me. He is wearing a 5sos shirt. Could it really be him?

I don't really want to know. So I just keep walking but in order to get to the coffee shop I have to walk past the guy.

I start walking and he turns around and he is facing me. I stop in my tracks and my heart literally stops beating. It's him...

"Luke?" I ask.

"Clary?" He replies.

I forget what I'm doing and run up to him and hug him tightly. He hugs me back. I let go and ask how the baby is doing.

"Good. It's a boy. We decided to name him Lucas. He looks just like me."

I smile and say," Well I'm glad everything is going good."

"Were you going somewhere?" He asks me.

I look at the coffee shop and see Josh standing outside. "Yeah. I was going to meet my boyfriend and get some coffee.. Then go off to work. I'm a teacher now."

"Oh well I'm so happy for you Clary." He says and starts to walk away.

"Luke?" I say.

He turns around and says," yeah?"

"Why did you come here?" I ask with a frown on my face remembering what Sydney said.

He smiles and says," That's for you to figure out." And he's gone.

I smile and run to meet Josh at the coffee shop. He kisses my cheek and asks," Who was that?"

I don't know how to answer so I say," My best friend, Luke."

He smiles and says," Well he looks nice."

I smile and say," Yeah he is."

With that I grab my coffee from him and we walk out of the coffee shop and walk towards the school.

I get there and my kids are already sitting in their seats..

Hmm.. How weird usually they are all over the place being goofy.

"Class doesn't start for another 20 minutes." I say laughing.

A little girl named Bella says," Well it's your birthday so we wanted to be here early."

I smile and say," Well thankyou guys it's very kind of you."

They all surround me in a group hug and i smile. These kids are literally like my own kids.

"Mrs. Culler helped us make this for you." A little boy named Zane says.

I smile and gladly take it. All of the boys and girls names are on it and it says happy birthday.

"Aw thanks guys." I say.

"Welcome Ms. Jones." They all say at once.

"Today were going to be doing stations. So table one go to the first station. Second table go to the second station.  And third table go to the third station."

The first station is helping kids read. The second is math problems. The third is just coloring.

I go to the first station and help some kids read words they don't know. I then help some kids with math problems and that's how we spend our day until lunch.

I take them down to lunch and go back into my classroom. Someone knocks on my door and I say," Come in."

I look up and Sydney is standing there holding her baby, Lucas.

"Hi..." I say.

"Hey I'm sorry for what I said." She then covers Lucas' ears and says,"I was kinda a real bitch." I laugh and so does she.

"He is so cute." I say. She smiles and says," yeah he is."

I laugh and she says," Do you want to hold him?"

I smile and say," Can I?"

She laughs and says," Of course!"

I gladly take him and his blue eyes open. He looks just like Luke. I put my finger in the baby's hand and he gladly takes it. I start rocking him and he falls asleep and I smile. I hand him back to Sydney.

I look at the time and it's 11:44. The kids come back in at 11:45.

"Um the kids are going to be back here soon so how about I text you later and we can meet up or something."

She smiles and says," that would be great." And she leaves.

I finish my day with the kids and make sure all of them have their hats, coats, and gloves on before I send them home.

After all of them are gone, I leave. I text Sydney and ask her where she wants to meet. She texts back and says: how about the mall? I text back and say okay. I go home and change, then head off to the mall to meet Sydney.
