He continued driving while I focus my gaze on him—on his emerald eyes.
"By the way have you eaten na baby?" Tanong n'ya sa 'kin.
That's when I realized that I haven't eaten anything yet from that pancake which Zalysha gave to me 3 hours ago.
After I got out from the hospital ay ako na mismo ang nagpa-uwi sa kanilang dalawa sa Cebu. Mang Erwin wanted to stay with me here, but he needs to take care of our villa in Cebu. While M on the other hand, she have work and responsibilities left in Cebu city hospital.
They both even argue with me about staying here, but I insisted and they could do nothing about it. Thus I ended losing a chef.
"Hey have you eaten na ba? It's dinner time baby, I'm also hungry do you want us to take out some food? We'll go on a drive through?" He again asked. I immediately shook my head.
Eating foods from fastfoods is not my thing. It's unhealthy.
"Nope sa bahay na lang, I'll cook, you can stay and join me," wika ko nang wala na akong mapagpilian.
"You can cook baby?" But all I can see in his eyes are admiration.
"I can General," sagot ko. I saw him grin.
"Oh damn! So I don't just have an action star woman but an ideal wife," he beamed a smile.
"What else baby? Ano pa ang kaya mong gawin? You can hold guns and kill anyone who oppose the idea of peace. You made the General with green eyes fell inlove with you. You help people in every way you could. And you can cook, that's rare for a rich woman with so much dignity like you.
"First and foremost I'm not rich General. Second I can be your wife too," walang pag-aalinlangan kong wika dahilan para malaglag ang panga n'ya sa gulat.
"Where's Mnemosyne's car baby?"
"They left for Cebu earlier in the morning," tipid kong wika. And for the second time around I saw him grin.
"So you're alone?" Tanong n'ya habang nakangisi.
Nagugulahan at nag-alinlangan man ay tumango na lamang ako sa kan'ya. Ngunit nagulat ako nang mabilis s'yang lumabas at tumatakbong umikot saka pinagbuksan ako ng pinto.
"Seriously? What's in the hurry General?"
"I'm famished baby. I need to eat something. You said you're alone right?"
"What was that for baby?" He pouted with his eyes sprinkled with confusion.
"I'm famished too General but not with food, for action. I need a warm up can I have you as my punching bag?"
"In which part of my body would you want to punch, my President? I'd always love to be a victim of your brutality. And I'm willing to get tired and gasp some air if it's all because of you baby," sa pagkabigla ko ay mabilis ko s'yang sinuntok muli sa balikat n'ya nang unti-unti ay nakukuha ko na ang ibig n'yang sabihin.
