"yeah?" i respond, not looking at my phone.

"look," he says seemingly excited to show me something .

i open my phone and see him holding a cat, to which i "aww" and finish walking up the stairs to my room. i realize that it's saturday, which means i need to go get groceries. 

i ask fundy if he wants to stay on the phone to which he agrees. i set my phone on my bed and i tell him i'm going to go get ready. 

i slip on some black ripped skinny jeans, combat boots in the same shade of black, and a tight white long sleeve under a short sleeved black crop top. i adorn my fingers with various rings and i put on 4 chains, one being a thin golden chain and the rest being chains from hot topic. my makeup is similar to what i did last night, only i added some fake lashes.

i walk back over to my bed and i see fundy not paying attention, so i get close to my camera and make a weird face for about 20 seconds before making myself laugh, which in turn makes fundy look towards the app on his pc, him seeing me cross eyes with my tongue out made him absolutely lose it.

after we finish our little laughing session, he asks for a fit check, to which i oblige. i point my camera towards my long mirror that sits in the corner of my room. he sits there, observing my outfit only to compliment the boots and said the jeans look great on me, to which i thank him. 

as i'm going down the stairs i see minx, i take this time to ask her how much longer she'll be staying, so i know whether or not i have to get extra groceries. she asks if i'm going to have anymore breakdowns this week to which i laugh and say "who knows."

safe to assume she was gonna stay here, i mean she practically lives here so it's not out of the ordinary to have to buy extra groceries. 

i walk out of the house, phone and keys in hand, wallet in back pocket. i get in my smaller dark blue car, setting my phone up on the stand thing i have on my dash, connecting my airpods to my phone. i notice that fundy is on mute and that he's on the phone with someone, i just waved when he looked my way to which he smiled and reciprocated. 

i put my seatbelt on as one does and started the short but fun trip to the shops. fundy and i would have a short conversation here and there about nothing before i got curious. 

"so who were you on the phone with if you don't mind me asking?" i ask whilst getting out of my car, double and triple checking  to make sure i have phone, keys, and wallet. 

"oh it was just one of my friends that i play minecraft with, he's also a youtuber." he explains nicely as i walk into the store.

"oh that's cool, do i know him?" i ask, interested in whether or not i knew this person.

"well it's dream and if you don't know him you must be living under a rock," he says with a small chuckle.

"OH! that's the speed run and man hunt guy isn't it?" i ask, i think i remember seeing something saying he broke a record or almost did.

"yes that's correct. he has his own smp type deal and we were just discussing some of the script," he continues, going on a slight ramble that i don't mind. 

"oh really? tell me more," i say, now intrigued and attentive. 

"are you sure? i'm likely going to go on a rant," he asks, seeming almost...surprised?

"that's fine, i like hearing people rant about things they're interested in," i say matter of factly as i grab a cart and begin walking around the store.

"okay so...there's a child that's exiled because he burned down someones house, there's a talking pig and you're a furry?" i ask, trying to recollect all the information he told me.

"essentially but i'm not a furry,"  he says defensively, almost annoyed.

"i'm just teasing love, no need to get defensive," i chuckle slightly, watching him out of the corner of my eye sit back and relax a bit.

by now i had gotten most of my groceries, but a thought came to my head.

"hey fundy?" i start, using this phrase to hopefully get his attention.

"what's up?" he asks, now sitting up and cracking his knuckles.

"can you teach me some dutch?" i ask as i turn a corner, ending up on the chip aisle.

"uh yeah sure i suppose, i don't speak it too much though," he says, smiling.

see, it was always a thing i did if i had a friend that spoke a different language, i'd try and learn at least the basics, just so we had something to use as a bonding moment. plus, learning a new language is fun.

he went over the basics such as hello, how are you, what's your name, etc. whilst trying to repeat the phrases and words he gave me i asked about shopping in dutch, to which he explained that stores are called "winkels," and if you were to go shopping that it's "winkelen". i asked about grocery shopping and he told me that it would instead be "boodschappen doen."

granted i had an extremely hard time trying to pronounce this, which in turn caused me to earn some looks from other customers as i walked up to the till. as the cashier is scanning my groceries, i was making faces at fundy, and he would copy me. 

"your total is €68.46 ma'am," i hear come from the cashier who looked like they didn't want to be there. 

i stick my card into the chip reader and tap the small screen a few times before it makes a chirp of approval. i thank the cashier and walk out of the store, only to lose where i parked, having been too busy to remember. 

shit.
