The Announcement

I was finally talking to Josh again. And I convinced him to talk to Niall and sort things out. I didn't want all this drama getting in between their friendship.

I grabbed my phone and called Niall. "Nialler! Are you busy?"

"Um, not really. Why?" I could tell he was stuffing his face again.

Josh took my phone from my hand. "Get your butt over here Horan!"

"... Am I in trouble?"

"Nah, we just want to talk. And bring the other lads too."

"On it!" Niall hung up.

Josh threw my phone to the pillow that was on the floor. "How are you feeling Em?" He held my hand and kissed my forehead.

"Like shit. We need to figure this out. I mean, you leave in two months."

"If you want, I can stay. The boys can find ano-"

I put my finger over his mouth. "No, you're going. The boys need you. You're an amazing drummer and I don't want this to come in between your drumming career."

Josh moved my finger away to speak. "But Em, you can't do this alone."

"I won't be alone." I sat close to him and put my head on his shoulder. "I think it's time we tell everyone."

"Are you sure?"

"Not 100% sure, but it's the best thing to do."

"Do you wanna tell them first or the boys?"

I thought for a second. "How about we tell them at the same time?" Josh looked confused. "Let's make a dinner with my family and the boys."

"Whatever you want, babe." He smiled and took my hand. "You know I support every decision you make."

I started to tear up and rubbed my eyes. "I'm sorry for all this. You should've just gotten back with Mandy."

"Don't say that."

"I feel bad because I'm going to be coming in between your drumming career and everything and... I don't want to ruin your life."

"Do you know why I didn't get back with Mandy?"

"Why?"

"Because I love you. You don't ruin my life, you make it better. Everytime I see you, hear you, talk to you, my day is complete. I can't go a day without you. Those days that we weren't talking were hell for me, and I was the dumbass for not talking to you. I truly do love you, and only you." He gave me a big bear hug and a sweet kiss. "I love you, Emily."

"I love you, Josh. Always and forever."

"Hey hey!" It was my brother Jake.

"Yo! You're here!" I ran out of my room to go hug Jake.

"Nice to see you again, Jake." Josh was going to shake my brother's hand, but Jake gave him a man hug. "Oh, alright."

We laughed as they were letting go of each other. I looked around. "Where's Jaime and Caitlin?"

"They're coming. I think they're talking with those One Erection guys."

I rolled my eyes. "It's One Direction dummy."

"Do you wanna go outside and greet them babe?" I nodded and Josh took my hand. Jake shrugged and sat on the couch, playing on his iPhone.

Lucky bastard...

"Awww look at the happy couple!" Louis came up to us first and hugged me.

"Hey Em!" Zayn, Harry and Niall came up to us next, all of them hugging me, and Josh didn't get jealous.

Caitlin and Jaime walked behind them. "Hi to you too meanies!" I rested my head on Josh's shoulder as Liam finally came up to us.

"How are you feeling Em? Do you need anything?"

"I'm okay, Liam. Don't worry about me. Tonight, just enjoy the dinner we prepared." Liam nodded and walked inside, me and Josh behind him.

It was so  nice to see everyone at the table. My family were talking to the boys as if they've known them forever. Niall was even having a little food fight with Francisco.

"Francisco, stop!" My parents walked in and soon enough he stopped. "Emily, Josh, sit down please. It's time to eat."

We nodded and walked to where we would sit. Josh pulled out my chair and sat next to me. We all made small talk while we ate, but soon came the time to make the announcement.

"Are you ready Em?"

"I'm never going to be ready, but I have to tell them."

We stood up and hit our glasses like those sophisticated, high class people always did when they had something important to say. "Hey guys, we have something to say." Everyone turned to face us. "Josh, i'm scared."

"Don't be. I'll tell them if you'd like me to."

"No, I have to do this." I squeezed Josh's hand and cleared my throst. "I guess I'm just gunna come out and say it."

"You're a lesbian?" Jaime, could you be any stupider?

"No you dumbass!" I breathed in and closed my eyes. "I'm... I'm pregnant."
