The time awaiting was about to end. days passed and one could ever stop it , Elizabeth was now 9 and one week away from being 10
Everyday she used to go to the window of old lousy hut and pray to God that whichever truth is going to come make her strong enough to handle it, fight it and clever enough to beat it.
It was weird for Elizabeth that her mother was behavier was stranger than usual , these days her mother would be up till four in the morning practicing and whenever she used to see Elizabeth she was to ask her one thing again and again "you love me sweetie don't you" sometimes Elizabeth would find difficulty in answering that it was no doubt that she loved her mother but because of the strange behaviour, she was not comfortable in saying that

Days went by Elizabeth s birthday was tomorrow , she was feeling like her body is going to float in the clouds, tomorrow she is going to know the truth of her father , she closed her eyes and waited for the time to pass for the clock bird to sing , she was quiet sad too because tomorrow on her birthday the same day the ritual was all again going to be performed
The wind came through the window , leaving her shivering , that night was so serene and beautiful , she closed her eyes and started dreaming about the birthday , suddenly the dream changed and she was entering in a dark hut , the sun was on top but the room stayed stubbornly dark
, As soon as she kept her foot In , the House, a creaky sound followed
The room was full of dust and worn out stuffs , within a minute she realised she was in 6 brothers house only dustier and scarier

Somehow her mind was only thinking about one thing do , to go the brother's house and without thinking much she seek out of the house and went straight to meet the brothers mother , it was 1 a.m. in the morning. the youngest brother who was 60 opened the door with a very cunning smile he said "she is waiting for you" the girls step then very strange feeling flooded inside her body her mind wasnt working her heart was racing

She came into a very small room with a fireplace in it there was a wooden chair on which the mother was sitting, reading a book, she turned around as soon as Elizabeth stepped inside the room "I was waiting for you took so long sit down now it's time to know the truth why it's so serene"
Elizabeth did as the lady told , she could swear the lady was trying not meet her eyes ,after a while of looking at the fire she spoke "long ago I was asked not to tell the truth until the time ,came, until you are ready to know, it 50 years back when your mother was just married and had you, and your father died
Elizabeth took a back her mother said that he abandoned us but the lady was saying that he was dead didnt know what to believe and what not to she was about to open her mouth and ask question but was interrupted by one of the brothers
"Let her say what she's saying neither you have time nor we "
Elizabeth swallowed the questions at once and was giving all the attention to the the lady trying to meet her eyes
