Tee walked into his dorm after spending two hours in the library to find New waiting for him at the door, with his stuffed Mario in his arms, biting his nails. Tee blinked and walked in, eyeing the greedy kitten.
"Hey!! You're back!" New said chirpily but Tee could see the nervousness in his eyes.
"Oh, what did you do now?" he asked and New pursed his lips cutely.
"Em... ihihi... your owner just called, said you didn't pick up your phone" New said, chuckling nervously and playing with his fingers. When Tee hurried to get his phone that he always puts on silent when he's studying, New grabbed for him. "Wait wait wait! Em... well, when I was on call with him, I accidentally said those words that I've had buried in the deepest corner of my heart"
Tee blinked. Then he closed his eyes with a groan. "What?"
"I asked him... whenwillhetakeusoutfordinner!!! Yaaaah!!!" New said fast and closed his eyes with a squeal, ready for Tee's wrath.
Tee opened his eyes with a gasp. "Y-you..." unable to say anything, he puffed his cheeks.
"You're shameless" Copter called and Tee, still with mouth shut and cheeks puffed, nodded.
"Em... ihihi... there's more..." he grinned at Tee like a bunny and took a step back when Tee's cheeks puffed even more. "Em... I told him there's no better time than the present since it's... your birthday so..."
Now, New was worried for his life since Tee had puffed his cheeks so much they were ready to burst. "He'll be here in an hour" With that he ran around with Tee chasing after him, hitting him furiously.
"You... you... you... you greedy kitten! I will kill you!"
"Kyah! Kill me later, just get ready now" New said and went to get something from his cupboard, something he got the day they went to buy the interview outfit for Tee. "Here"
Tee blinked. "You did not!" he gasped realizing it was the same outfit he'd liked so much that day. "New! It's too expensive!"
"Hey! We bought it together. All three of us" Win said. "It's our gift for your twentieth birthday! Be happy and try it out"
"Yeah, it's the end of the term, we're all broke, well, except for Win. But look, we all made such effort, now wear it na!" Copter added too, the three of them sharing meaningful looks before they started bugging Tee till he agreed to get ready. Once he was inside to change, they high fived with wicked grins.
"That went well" Win grinned.
"Yeah, well" Copter sighed. "You two sure he's gonna be okay with this? You should not be ruining his birthday"
"Oh, come on, he's our Teetee" New grinned, squealing. "This is gonna be fun, I can't wait"

Tae sighed and leaned against the car, waiting for Tee and his friends, lost in thought. It wasn't that he didn't know it was Tee's birthday. Of course, he knew. Even if Tee didn't tell him. But there was just something wrong, he just knew it.
"Phi..."
He looked up when Tee walked up to him and lost his mind for a moment. He had to blink and remind himself to breathe while watching Tee approach him with a shy smile on his beautiful face. It was his first time seeing Tee in red.
