' just being in her presence,
felt like a blessing '

IZUMI HIYORI WAS VERY GIFTED, one could say. She had the world at her fingertips, with a powerful quirk, even pros could only dream of having. Izumi had very high expectations pushed upon her once she was brought into the world.

With the death of her father, Izumi and her older brother, were both torn. Their mother pretended not to be hurt, even though she had sob sessions at night when she thought that her children were asleep.

The two had no choice but to train their hardest, in order to be able to keep their family name. Their bloodline was full of pros, meaning they would be disowned if they were to be weak or quirkless.

With their mother, Hitomi Hiyori, being ranked number three in the hero world, the expectations on the two grew an huge extent. Everywhere they went, their mother's name would be brought up.

Izumi wouldn't say that she was annoyed, when in reality she was. She hated being brought up by her mother's huge success.

Her brother, Hoshi Hiyori, was different though. Because unlike Izumi, he felt a sense of pride in being famous, not so secretly enjoying the attention he received. Mostly because he had many females pinning over him.

Him being a second year at UA High only brought him more admirers. Izumi secretly admired and looked up to Hoshi, even if she took whatever chance she got to pick on him and make jokes at his looks.

When she was recommended into UA, her first initial response was to accept. Who would pass up a chance to go to their dream school? The school her mother taught at. It would be quite ridiculous if she were to decline.

As news surfaced of Shoto Todoroki being recommend as well, Izumi grew annoyed. It was like she could never escape that annoying bastard. He was so cocky and she despised him for it.

Their parents knew each other quite well, and Hitomi wasn't a big fan of the man that she could never beat. Him being ranked number two in the hero world, it was enough reason for her to hate him.

And she didn't fail to let her children know how much she despised Endeavor, especially since he treated his children more like weapons than human beings. Izumi wasn't going to lie, she pitied Todoroki, but that didn't mean she had to like him.

Izumi's mother always forced her to be nice to the boy with peppermint colored hair. Even if she wanted to wipe that grin off of his face with a punch, she greeted him with a small smile.
