Dolly's father Niklaus Valencia was the capo of the Italian mafia. During a trade in Moscow, Russia.. He met a woman named Emilia Novikova daughter of a very powerful man in Russia, they soon fell in love she did not know his mafia secret or who he really was he just went by "Klaus King" his trade had been done for weeks but he extend his trip for her...on the last day Emilia's father told her who he was and if she were to love him and go back with him to Italy he would NEVER speak to her again, and he didn't. She ran away with Klaus back to Italy.... and after a year of fun and danger, finding out how things work in the mafia, They got married following their family's heirs and for safety they matched their last names to "Novikova-Valencia"starting with hers and ending with his.

It was shocking seeing a Russian woman and Italian mafia man together at the time, some were even so mad they'd send death threats. So Emilia was always in hiding from the world.. The thing that sadden her the most was that children of their own was to big of a risk.....until she was with child. It was a blessing and a curse, a baby girl named "Dolly Novikova-Valencia King". Everyone knew the baby was Klaus weakness so he decided to give her the last name king for protection and go to Russia with the baby and Emilia and kept his child with her a secret ......

after seeing her grow just for a small time people were getting suspicious of Klaus disappearance so he had to go back to Italy to keep his secret.

"CAPO VALENCIA" was shot and killed on Dolly's 14th birthday flying over to see her........with her father death and no siblings just a grieving mom, her mom decided to see her father again, to regain his trust Emilia had to start seeing this cruel man who was horrible..she wasn't happy and neither was Dolly around 16 her mother was killed by the man for not listening to him...Dolly was forced to stay with him even after what he did to her mother... She had to lie about who she was and that she was a Italian-Russian Heir of the most powerful Mafia in history to keep her safe....

After escaping the man:
she went by Dolly King, she had said since no one knows she was even alive she wanted the mafia to be in Italy and NYC, she renamed the mafia "The Kings" as a way to Honor her parents so she could run it there but undercover and a dear friend of her dads ENZO would be the face of the mafia until she was trained and ready for this life.....and that's how she became known as THE KING..
