It's a rainy and cold thursday in Dublin, Ireland. You get a phone call from your mother. 'Y/N, have you seen the news? They are opening the auditions for X-factor again! Wasn't that your dream?' You say: 'Yes! Oh my god it is! But I am scared though.' Your mom tells you not to be scared, you got the talent now you only need the confident. I know I need to be more confident, to be more out going and do what I dream of, but unfortunately I am not like that. I am a scaredy cat, afraid to acomplish my dreams. Little did Y/N know that there was something comming her way, something that would change their life completely.
The next monday Y/N woke up by her mom yelling at the phone and crying. She runs downstairs only to see her mom crying like someone had just died. But no it was not quite like that, not at all.. Mom hanged up the phone and stares right back at me, 'How long have you been there? Did hear anything i said?' Y/N responded with: 'Mom! What is going on, yes I have heard everything, about how we need to pay the bills, lean more money and in the worst case, sell the house. But how mom? I thought everything was going well?' Your mom sighs,'Y/N, I am so sorry for not telling you. It went bad again at work, my shifts got shorter and we need every pound we have'. I started thinking about every sollution possible, even the impossible. There was nothing I could think of. The phone rings. 'hello it's Y/N, who am I speaking with?' Caller: 'Yes hello Y/N, it's me Ethan! I just saw the ad for the X-factor, you should totally sign up! You can win 100.000 pounds, well hello there college!!' Ethan hangs up the phone even before I could answer. But would this really be it? My sollution? To help my mom, I need to audition for the X-factor? I mean it is worth a shot but I am so scared.. I should tell my mom. Y/N walks downstairs to her mom. 'Mom, Mom! I got it, I got a plan!' Your mom looks at you, 'What do you mean you have a plan? Where do you want to get money from, I can't afford it to lent more from people.' Y/N : 'No , I will sign up for the X-factor and if I win, we could use the money so well!' Mom:'It is worth the chance, but I will not stop thinking about other stuff.'
A day later me and my mom sit down to sign me up, I was dead nervous but determined to help my mom. As we open the X-factor site, and click on the sign up sheet , we go to work. They really want to know everything.. You full name, date of birth, where you live and even your general practisioner. What do they need that for? But alright we continued to fill it out, and then there it was, the video input, upload a video of yourself whilst singing. I just couldn't do it, I was to scared. But my mom wasn't, so she uploaded it. And now we wait..
