"Flower Deku"- by Josukespimphand

It was a bright Saturday. The sun was smiling down at the early birds and many people had taken it upon themselves to go outside and enjoy the lovely day it was going to be. Chattering and laughter covered the air as all kinds of people filled the green space present for days like these.
A situation that, overall, annoyed the crap out of Bakugo Katsuki.

Wearing the usual orange tank top and black shorts, Katsuki was the earliest bird of the park. Before the sun had even peeked from behind the horizon he had already been doing his morning routine which consisted of running mostly. Running was good. He liked running. It required little to no concentration on his part, only the occasional thought of where to next?. Mechanical movements: left right left rightleftright. As simple as it could get, left a lot of space behind for more important things to think about. And Bakugo Katsuki was important.

Graduated from UA at 18 years with enough offers to write a book. At only 19 years, he breached the top 10 heroes at 9th place, not managing to break Hawks record, but compensating by making his way to 2nd place in only 1 year. With his explosive personality and terrible quirk- switch those two- Bakugo Katsuki was a the top of the World, his peak years. Only 20 years old and already so accomplished, a Pro-Hero worthy of being acknowledged by the masses even if he screamed too much or blew up someone's face once or twice. No one could deny his talent and hard work. He was important.

It all seemed too good to be true, and I once heard that when it does look too good to be true it often is a lie.

His reality broke on the 20th of April, his 22nd birthday precisely, at 01:37 am. By morning his phone had been taken over by lost calls, unanswered messages, e-mails, and warning alarms. When the pro-hero read the title of the vlog that had been uploaded he knew his career was over.

It read "The truth about Ground Zero, the #1 bully". And the thumbnail contained the face of the person that haunted his dreams, that took his sleep away, gave him insomnia, and made him start taking pills to keep the whispers at bay.
Midoriya Izuku, 14 years old and smiling at the camera with his freakishly big green eyes, absurd freckles, and crazy green hair sticking up in all directions. Time had stopped for him. Unfortunately, that is.

Now he was important for a whole different reason. As the video spread like wildfire all over the internet: from an unknown, recently created blog, to Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, and through major network channels that had been waiting like vultures to take a chunk out of someone's life.
The video was simple. Cut out clips, shaky photos, snippets, all evidence that pointed to one answer: Bakugo had a shitty personality, and hinted to a terrible reality: he was the cause of Midoriya Izuku's death.

It had been a horrifying affair really. At only 14 years old, young Deku decided to swan dive off a roof, more precisely the school's roof. Blood had painted the concrete in a gruesome painting created from the young teenager's skull, and mind that had been broken (although not because of the hard floor as was later discovered).

There was no evidence pointing at why he would do that. Such a bright life ahead, even though there was no quirk in it. The ones involved came to a mutual understanding that it was better to keep mum about everything, including exactly who pushed the kid to suicide.

Therefore everything was quickly brushed aside. However, the shock was too much to handle for poor Midoriya Inko, the victim's mother, who passed away from natural causes a mere 2 weeks after her son. The husband never came. Such a story was not uncommon enough to even make the news, so nobody should know about it.

Clearly, that thought was incorrect.

In one day Ground Zero's career was destroyed. From the top ten to a nobody, brushed aside by the same people who praised his assertive nature not even a few hours before. His poll rankings dropped, the agency he had been registered in was forced to cut him off, his friends and coworkers left him (with a few exceptions like Kirishima, that after a few months tried to remedy their friendship) and, worst of all, his family. His mother's best friend had died herself due to her son's death, how could Mistuki Bakugo accept her own son's sins when they brought so much harm?
